Personally, I think outside of marro (we all understand what you are going through, and have plenty of faith in you.) that the names of people that SCROOGED should be posted.

Why not?

We post bad ebayers, bad traders, etc. Really when you think about it, they flat out fall into the bad trader category and should be known to everyone on the board. Hell, It should be a STICKY on this board.

I did not get involved with SS this year due to my wife being out of work and so on but I agree these scrooges need to be outed. They have no buisness on this site if they are doing that kind of BS. If they are outed they would be hung from the rafters.

Ok, guys, I think I've got a beat on all but one Secret Santa.

What I want to express is that I did get some messages from people that were less than excited about their gifts.jgh

What I want people to do is put yourself in their shoes. How would you feel if you got something that you didn't ask for?

Secret Santa ISN'T about unloading stuff that you have sitting around.

Would you give your family your old tv for christmas, when they got you an iPod? I would imagine that answer is no.

I'm not here to point fingers or to give anyone a guilt trip, but if you agree to a certain level of SS, then you need to realize the expectations that come with that.

this is so stupid that people are getting screwed over. this is also my first year and i couldnt have been happier and i hope the same goes for my victim. i will give this another shot for sure... but i think it needs to involved established members. and we need to come up with an avatar or something we can put in our signature that shows we had positive experiences and fullfilled our agreement to secret santa

Where is the Moderator staff on this? I mean, the Secret Santa was F'd up last year, non-Mods had to fix it......did FCB not learn from last year? At some point they need to take control of this situation, bad gift givers need to be outed, and someone needs to figure out how to fix this.

For all of the SS's that get officially scrooged, hopefully the Jolly SS's can help put together a package for them. I will do what I can. Money is tight right now, but I have a lot of stuff in my collection that I would donate towards a Gift.

I think once is is all said and done, there is only 1 package unaccounted for at this time. And that person has not been on the site since January 6th.

The other 2 SS that were tardy have supplied DC #s, so lets give it 2-3 days to pan out.
