Mike Olt did it again. HR # 13.

He's now 1 short of Brandon Wood's record, set in 2005.

Nolan Arenado is 3-3 today, batting .407.

He is separating himself as an elite prospect in the AFL. What makes his .407/6/33 line even more impressive is just 13 K in 113 AB so far.

Once again, this pleases me.

I think he has a good shot at AFL MVP if he keeps this going. Olt looks tough, but his K rate is looking pretty dismal around 33%, and his average is 50 points lower. Wonder who would get it if the season ended today.

Was hoping Olt would hit #14 today but at least he has two more games to beat the record.

Got #13 signed today.

Very cool that you have been able to get the last four homers he has hit... I'm curious how exactly you do that?

Harper = 2-3. Tripled in his final AB. Finished with a respectable .333 avg.

Miguel de los Santos has been consistently good in the AFL. Today - 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 6 K.

Saw a few Scottsdale games this week, and Harper looked BAD against offspeed stuff low in the zone. Got caught off balance multiple times, and lefties just continued to throw him breaking pitches. When he got the FBs though, he was mashing. Hit a double on Monday that went probably 420' to LC (just to the side of the 430' sign) over halfway up the wall on an outside FB. Misplayed a few standard plays in left, including overrunning two grounders and misreading a fly ball over his head (had no chance to catch it anyways, but it was apparent that he was having an issue judging it's distance).

Arenado gets barrel on EVERYTHING it seems. Was hitting everything with authority when I saw his game on Tuesday.

Trout isn't hurt, but he was dealing with a bit of exhaustion. He wasn't playing on Tuesday, but was still walked out by a trainer in the 3rd inning to get to the clubhouse. In his ABs on Monday he just looked over it after his first inning oppo HR.
