Nice to see Aaron Hicks on there, he was a Razor guy too. But why have players who had base chrome in Bowman have them in Bowman Chrome too? I thought I saw multiple names, Harper, Arcia, Banuelos.

I hope they take arcia out. Will have to dump my stash if they don't

The fact that Carlos Martinez is completley absent from the checklist ( not even a base chrome?) is extremeley disapointing to me.

Look again, dude. He IS a base prospect.

That would be the 27 year old Washington Nationals Carlos Martinez.

Ah ok. I thought the team name was a typo. Didn't realize they actually had someone with that name.

It's a miracle. First Topps takes my advice and put's in the retro 94 BB design. Now they appease me again by implimenting a quasi 10 year anniversary retro design. Me thinks the Topps reps readz the boardz. A+ for that, I haven't really looked at everything else, but bravo for a change.

I take it this means you'll be buying their Micro-Fractor, Fusion-fractor and Future-fractor parallels?

No Vinnies, guess that means I can spend more on his Reg Super. Also, no Pineda auto in this makes Topps Chrome better, no?

At least those are only parallels on the Future set...I read through this thread before reading the sell sheet and I thought for a minute that they were adding those awfully-named parallels to the base set.

My only real thoughts are that the auto checklist looks very solid but I wish Turner weren't in it.

I also think it's incredibly weak that they are repeating the same players in the same sets. If you want to do a 2010 base and then a 2011 auto or a 11 Bowman base and an 11 Bowman Chrome auto, then so be it, but to repeat the same players as the same cards is just ridiculous. This includes, but is not limited to Bryce Harper's second Bowman's Best card in as many products.

The duplication of base cards from the Bowman release is just absurd- not least of all because of the prominently displayed "never before seen prospects" claim.

Any regular reader of this board could create a better checklist in an hour of work. And by better I don't necessarily mean better players (although that's probable too). The duplication- yes, I know it's been going on for years- just gives the product a remarkably unprofessional, shoddy feel.

How hard is it to sit down and look at the checklist for the previous release in the Bowman line before publishing a checklist for the next one?

I understand that there are issues with signing guys to Topps' contracts and getting guys to agree to sign cards. That's fine. Maybe your initial list is 250 prospects you'd like to have, and from that you come up with your 110 that you can get into the set (plus autos). But surely the duplication is not because there are less than 110 prospects who haven't already had a "1st Bowman Card."

So what does a canary diamond 1/1 refractor look like? and does this decrease/increase/no change the value of the super?

I agree with you 100%. There is just no excuse for it at all.

Looks like I might sell my Red Status auto of A.J. Cole now..it's a shame, nice lookign card.

Excited for these autso: Dickie Joe Thon, Brad Holt, Reese Havens, Matt Lollis, A.J. Cole, and Kendrick Perkins.

Can someone please explain to me why PETER TAGO has another card in this set? Are you that lazy to re-read the checklist?

After reading the checklist over, half of the names reappear in the checklist. This checklist is either terribly constructed and lazy or its wrong.

Another big name who is still yet to have a Chrome auto is Matt Moore. I don't get that, either.

Even more so because he shares an auto with Montgomery in Pro Debut, so he has signed a contract with Topps.

Randall Delgado is found twice in the base prospect CL. I've already let DINANBBS know about it.

40 autos thats a joke. Topps just dont want anyone to get a harper auto. The auto checklist is alright but theres a ton of deadwood too. Harper is a dream come true to distributors. they will keep the price of this super high until it falls at release. I see a ton of value in 2010 draft.

Really looking forward to seeing the 2011 Draft CL. When does it normally come out?

I believe it was September last year.

That's when the product releases, right? Meant the checklist but I see why the question didn't come off as that.
