40 autos thats a joke. Topps just dont want anyone to get a harper auto. The auto checklist is alright but theres a ton of deadwood too. Harper is a dream come true to distributors. they will keep the price of this super high until it falls at release. I see a ton of value in 2010 draft.

Really looking forward to seeing the 2011 Draft CL. When does it normally come out?

I believe it was September last year.

That's when the product releases, right? Meant the checklist but I see why the question didn't come off as that.

Bowman Draft releases in December. The preliminary info releases about 3 months prior to the street date.

I'll join the club in saying it's ridiculous that guys that JUST had their first base chrome in Bowman will have a second base chrome AND an auto in BC.

I mean, that Banuelos photo is so similar to the Bowman release, and it's going to kill the value of the Bowman card (probably a 30-40% drop). I'm invested quite a bit in Manny's Bowman cards (6 Ref, 5 Blue ref, plus chromes), so this really pisses me off. I suspected he'd have an auto in BC, but not in they way they're doing it...

Last year they flipped base cards for a few guys like Wil Myers, Kirk Nieuwenhuis, and Jefry Marte to the BC release (where they had autos in Bowman). I hope hope hope they change it to something the reverse of that.

I'm not a prospector. But it is absolutely ridiculous what Topps is doing with the duplicates. As someone stated before me, how hard is it to go over previous year's checklist and find the players that have had a bowman card. I just don't get it.

It's a miracle. First Topps takes my advice and put's in the retro 94 BB design. Now they appease me again by implimenting a quasi 10 year anniversary retro design. Me thinks the Topps reps readz the boardz. A+ for that, I haven't really looked at everything else, but bravo for a change.

If Topps is reading this, then listen up:

A STANDALONE BOWMAN CHROME HERITAGE SET WOULD BE TOTALLY AWESOME. JUST START WITH THE 1997 DESIGN AND WORK YOUR WAY FORWARD

Topps does this every year, so no one has any reason to be upset that their investmets will go down in value because of this. The big name base cards in regular Bowman almost allways become Autos in Chrome. Same goes for draft, usually your big name base cards become autos in next years bowman.

I'm not saying what they are doing is right, because it is far from right. But investors should not expect Player A who had a base in Bowman not to have an auto in in Chrome.

Do it the exact same way the original set was. I think 97 BC was 300 cards. Mix of vets, rookies, and young stars.

International 1:6
Refractor 1:12
Int'l Refractor 1:24

As well as the various insert sets and refractor parallels of those. No autographs. Keep it real to the original.

I'm a set collector, and I'd build a BC Heritage set. I don't give a damn about annoying prospectors complaining about no autographs or gold refractors

Welty the only other Oriole Prospect as of now, unless I'm totally blind.

It's more the third (base) card that's got my blood up. They have NOT done that before with prospect cards. It's happened before with prospects becoming green RCs lots of times, but not with all the same prospect design.

Ahh, I see what your talking about. Yes, I believe you do have a right to be upset because of on top the auto killing the base Bowman you have another base chrome bringing the value down further.

Ill GLADLY take a second card of a top guy like Banuelos instead of some scrub 23 yr old taking up space in A ball.

Is ANOTHER Harper Bow Best card overkill? Obviously, but again, would MUCH rather have him than anyone else. Heck, Id be all for a "Life of Harper" 25 card insert set showcasing him on the toilet to the minors.

I'm not as invested as you in Banuelos but have about 20+ chromes, a few ref, and a blue ref and was bummed as well. Still hoping it'll hold a little value since it's his "1st Bowman"

Am I reading that correct, Khris Davis and Hunter Morris have autograph cards?

I was kind of stoked about that too, but unless they make big moves this year or play HI ball and catch fire, I would trade them both in for a Heckathorn issue.

Chris Johnson had THREE Bowman Cards over two years, the third an Autograph. To top it off, all three stated "First Bowman Card"

think what Topps was saying was it was Chris Johnson's first Bowman card for that particular set, not overall.
