Does anyone know if they auction any GU Future game items? I'd love to get my hands on a Turner GU item.

Yes, MiLB.com and MLB.com often auction them off. Thats how I got this:

S1050025-1.jpg

S1050023.jpg

That's sweet! Do you know when they do the auctions for the jerseys/hats/ etc?

Ichiro jr vs Shelby Miller. Go USA

Hah! Yup, Hak Ju Lee is obviously the next top 5 hitter of all time.
Ichiro aint. I could think of about 80 guys OI would put ahead of him.

List them,

hell, don't bother with 80, lets just see 50 to save time.

So power = good hitter? He's had 10 straight season of 200+ hits and hes the all time hit leader in a single season.

No, power doesnt necessarily equal a good hitter. But, there are a lot of guys who get almost as many hits as him, hit a lot more home runs, and get on base a hell of a lot more than he does.

These are the only ones from you list i'd take before Ichiro. Not in any order. Ruth, Mays, DiMaggio, Mantle, Pujols, Griffey Jr, Ted Williams, Barry Bonds. Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, Ty Cobb, Stan Musial.

Oh and BTW. Noone gets ALMOST as many hits as him. He averages more than anyone will get this year, or next year, or last year.

Actually, yes they do, and thy get hits othr than singles and drive in runs and for all of those hits he gets, they have a higher OBP than him. Lets look at a few guys you picked over Ichiro
Lou Gehrig 162 game ave
G PA AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS OPS+
162 723 599 141 204 40 12 37 149 8 7 113 59 .340 .447 .632 1.080 178
Vlad Guerrero
G PA AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS OPS+
162 684 614 101 195 36 3 34 114 14 7 57 75 .318 .380 .556 .936 141
Rogers Hornsby
G PA AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS OPS+
162 679 586 113 210 39 12 22 114 10 74 49 .358 .434 .577 1.010 175
Miguel Cabrera
G PA AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS OPS+
162 692 604 102 189 40 2 34 119 4 2 76 123 .313 .391 .552 .943 148
Tris Speaker
G PA AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS OPS+
162 696 592 109 204 46 13 7 89 25 80 .345 .428 .500 .928 157
Ichiro Suzuki
G PA AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS OPS+
162 747 691 106 227 26 7 9 56 39 9 47 69 .328 .373 .425 .797 115
Ichiro Suzuki beats these guys in hits and some in ave and stolen bases. All those other guys are high ave hitters with power who drive in runs and get on base more than him. Ichiro cant even sniff Gehrigs jock, there is absolutely no comparison to him at all. Again, Ichiro is a great hitter, but to call him top 5 all time. No way. I dont even think he cracks the top 50. Base hits are great, but there is a lot more to hitting than base hits.

Discussion on Juan Gonzalez? He was almost a 300 hitter. he averaged 42 home runs and 135 RBI a year, and scored on average almost as many runs. Better all around hitter than Ichiro.
