2011 Ginter Code: Let's Get Started.

I'm sorry to have angered anyone. I truly apologize and didn't mean that in any way. As for the corners of the puzzle, there are two gold "corners" so far that I've seen: Tim Collins (#51) which is the bottom left and Mark Reynolds (#321) which is the bottom right. But the 3-cornered ones have puzzled me. I don't know how they could be used.

I can upload the Tim Collins (just pulled Mark Reynolds so I haven't scanned it yet), but I can't find the button to insert it. Is there any way to do that?

Orlando Hudson (#323) is also a gold bottom left (only one symbol). There's 2 bottom left GOLDS... does that mean there's 2 messages in gold? *confused* ::facepalm::

what do we need the code cards for, exactly, if the code was in one of the inserts sets and already deciphered???

Eh, I get the feeling that that card meant next to nothing unless it's just the final thing to do.

Order Cards via Symbols; Decipher with Symbol Cards; Shift to Left.

The only problem is what are we going to get from the Cipher cards? Are we taking a single letter? A single word, a single phrase? Are we going to take the 12th letter from the cipher with 12?

No one's really thought that far ahead which could end up being a mistake.

But yah, the Insert Card of the code cracker, in my opinion doesn't mean too much unless it's just a final step or something.

The cipher cards are only here to give you the number, which is easier than trying to match a symbol straight to a letter, since you would have to apply some kind of algorithm to determine which symbol is more present than the others, i.e. match the frequency of the symbols to how often each letter of the alphabet is used in the english language.

On that note, did we get all the different ciphers for sure yet? How many are there?

Wong and Jacoby have been real quiet since Ginter released and code clues started leaking. Could we see a 3 peat in the works????? or Wong come back and be the second two time code cracker. Or does a guy like schmidtfan and his connections have a team working on it to crack it. Gonna be fun to see who cracks it first.

#208 Kendry Morales Black Both top corners are Blank
#301 Gio Gonzalez Gold Symbols on all 4 corners

I honestly think your best bet is just making 350 2"x2" "fake cards" and just numbering the corners per sign... with the card number in the middle.

Once you put that together, you go to the real cards.

I wish you the best of luck, and I really hope you knock it out, I just cant bring myself to start this beast.

I have a Mark Trumbo code (gold symbols), I can scan it if you need it.

I have absolutely no clue what I have.

Someone sent me a list, but I still have no clue how to make it suitable for inclusion. If you post a scan in this thread, i take it and toss it up whether or not I need it or not.

Everything's always appreciated. Basically, if someone's sent you a message saying "CAN U PLZ SCAN IT" then I probably need it.
