This is a joke. I had hoped after the first installment of this junk they would have learned their lesson and stuck to Hockey and Sport Kings.

While this is interesting to note, if the back of the card doesn't show current stats does it really matter what year its released in? I don't think so. Identifying the year the vast majority of GU sets come from is an impossibility to begin with.

Most of GU cards essentially only say 'Congratulations' on back anyway!

Its a re release.

I ordered a case last month on "pre order" due to the price & huge amount of trout autos.

Brian Price (itg owner) told me in vegas (march conference) that whenever they release another h&p product, it will be loaded as they are out of the baseball market.

I actually really liked the low series. Thought the cards looked really nice. Sad to hear they are giving up on baseball.

And this is the problem with the small manufacturer.

The fact they can reprint or do, essentially, whatever they want without any governing body to answer to.

All the autos are #'d and on card, so they can't be reprinted without sending them out to get signed again. Of course there is an open hole (in the numbering)they can abuse if they were crooked, but I doubt they are or will.
