Big shout out to thank George for doing this for us. He makes it look easy! Merry Christmas, everyone, so far. I won't get to say it the day of since I'll be out in the boonies.

Jesse: Did I miss your birthday announcement?!?!? Happy Birthday (sorry, I miss huge chunks of the MT most days). Did you happen to see the link I posted last night to the "Goon" movie? I was wondering if you and any other MTer were going to have it out to be first in line.

Just have to say that the MT-SS has just been amazing..

Looking at what has been given, unlike the regular FCB SS, where some people just grab a card that might be on each persons list.. the MT-SS seems to try and think like a collector would think, and send cards as if they were collecting the cards for themselves as if they had the collections. 8-)

I want to thank George personally for doing all the background work as well..

I completely agree, Kevin. I think the MTSS works so well because we all have a pretty tight bond. We enjoy, encourage, and try to help each others collections. We know each other, in a lot of instances have met each other, we know about each others families. This group of guys is top notch. I consider each and everyone of you a friend (whether you like it or not, Barry).

A general board SS, I think a lot of people are more concerned with what they are going to receive as opposed to what they are going to give. Not everyone thinks that way, but I think a lot of them do.

I also would like to say Thank You to George for running MTSS again this year. George, you do a phenomenal job with this. Thank you.

from the quality of these scans i am seeing, i agree 100% on what type of guys you all are.

just genuine, good people. something i've always known.

You fit right in with the group perfectly, Dave. It's nice to see you stopping by more often. I haven't chatted with you in awhile. One of these days, I'll have to make it to a National in Baltimore or big show in NY so we can get together and have a beer (or ten). ;)

Good morning Andrew! We missed having you in it.

Thanks Dave 327 (Let's face it; we need to eventually go to a numbering system with the Daves). I am optimistic that the money situation will be better next year for two reasons: 1. The ET will continue to live away from here, saving us money, or 2. The ET will move back in and we will charge him a massively high rent, giving us money. :)

Of course, I could also find a better job that pays well, but that is just crazy talk. :P

I am absolutely blown away by the generosity this year!

As well as being blown away by my SS from our own Mr Calfas!!

I received a very festive NEON PINK mailer last week (you can see it from space  )

And inside were two packages...one marked "Big Man" and one marked "Olivia".

George went above and beyond in adding to both of our collections PERFECTLY.

First up, my own Recollection auto...goes very nicely with my 88 Diamond King from the same set!

And an absolutely AMAZING addition to Olivia's collection. I've bid on a couple of these and always lost by a mile...

Not sure how to take that.

I believe I will take it as an envious comment about my carefree lifestyle of dodging creditors, working with dunderheads, and subsisting on clearance food items. 8-)
