2011 Tigers Fest haul

I paid extra for Full Season Tix holder 1 hour early access. Waited 2 and a half hours in one line to get Scherzer and Jacob Turner! Lines were crazy, weather was frigid, did not have a good time. They were charging $32 for an official ball! Tigers run this thing very poorly. I did get some of my set needs though, here is what I got:

First ever game at Comerica Park program. Embossed with date on bottom

2005 All Star Game program (Which I attended)

Book cover, fabric was hard to sign. This is Jacob Turner:

First line, took about 20 minutes. Jauqin Benoit and Carlos Guillen were signing. Didn't need anything form Benoit. Got these from Guillen:

Second Line, just missed Magglio and Zumaya by 10 minutes! Waited 2 hours in this line. Ended up with Porcello and Duane Below. Did not need Below, got these from Porcello:

Third line, just missed Verlander by 15 minutes! Waited 2 and a half hours in this line, most of it outside in 5 degree weather. Ended up with Scherzer, Below, and Jacob Turner. Got the book cover above from Turner. Got these from Scherzer:

Last line, waited about 1 hour. Casper Wells and Scott Sizemore. Did not need Wells, got these from Sizemore:

Nice A&Gs. Those look so nice with a bold auto on them.

Quick question: Would you consider getting the the program from Opening Day 2000 autographed? I went to the game and I've been mulling it over. I would want the starting pitcher's auto (Brian Moehler) and thus I've hesitated.

Grats I got an Austin Jackson 4x6 debut ticket signed by him and he added "MLB Debut."

I thought it was stupid this year. The early entry passes went to waste because a minor leaguer was signing. Cabrera wasn't there, and Verlander was no where to be seen signing.

I honestly do not get this...

Line one: Al Albuquerque
Line two: Cale Iorg then Danny Worth and Perry
Then I saw on the Tigers website that Ordonez, Peralta, and Guillen were together.
And you just said Turner and Scherzer were together.

Do you see something wrong here?

This was the first TigerFest I haven't attended. I have been going for the last 4-5 years I think.

TigerFest is simply a waste of time. To me, standing on your feet for 8 or so hours, on concrete, is not worth getting through 3 or 4 lines. And, add in the fact that you usually don't get guys like Porcello, Guillen, Scherzer-well, the event is just a total mess.

The Tigers have made their stance on autographs clear over the last year or 2.

Yeah, Tigerfest is weak! I don't understand why they don't put everyone at one huge table, and just let all the fans get everybody! I would wait 10 hours in that line! Verlander was signing on occasion, I just missed him! Second time this has happened to me! I have got Porcello, Scherzer, and Turner twice each though.

Guillen signs all the time for girls/women, and kids.

Basically despises middle aged guys, though. I cannot stand Guillen one bit, personally. And I'm a big Tigers fan.

I had just never seen his auto before. Must not have alot of pack certified autos?
