2011 Topps Supreme=Fail

This product is total fail to me. Packs at close to $100 per and most standard autos and patch autos don't bring that but that is not my problem with the set.

For that price Topps can guarantee at least one auto per pack. Having mono color jersey and combo jerseys be the hit is really lame.

Also there should be at least one RC base per pack as well.

The cards look great, but it is a very boom or bust product. Because of all the color parallels, there is an abundance of autos in the product, meaning even an auto hit of a top draft pick doesn't sell for as much as you think it would.

uh hello!? i've been telling people this since last years, and people have been going bonkers for last years and this year...why because of the HIGH END cards on ebay...everyone thinks they'll pull it too. 2010 Plates and Patches will always be better than supreme, and i'm sure 2011 will be no different...not only that....Supreme is like lower end UD Ultimate...exactly the same...boom or bust...and when you bust, you bust bad!

Topps can guarantee an auto most on card in a 70 dollar box of Topps Chrome but can't even do one auto per 100 pack in Supreme?

Also they can't even make the packs contain one base rookie (which wouldn't really cost them any more to make).

I understand it's a gamble but not to even get a shot in most packs to me is lazy when it wouldn't have been that much harder to make the content better.

Also the fact that they are sticker autos makes the ROI even worse.

Don't get me wrong, I think its way overpriced and HATE stickers. There are worse products out there though.

In my opinion the cards look great. Better than any sticker product so far this year. That is a huge victory in itself, especially with how awful Panini's crap has been. However, its stickers, and stickers are awful.

However, like Ultimate Collection was, this is a complete singles based buy. Ultimate was on card, so that separates it a bit. I broke 2 boxes and pulled the hottest auto you can pull, but didnt make my money back. Wax is never going to be a good break, and this is going to be worse than most. However, when you pull something good, you are going to be VERY happy. Your big pull will look great, and will not look like it was designed by a high schooler in their computer class like Panini's from a lot of their stuff.

I agree the design is great and do not fail Topps for that. But they have shown an ability to create great designed products with also great content for the price (Inception and Chrome) so when compared to those two in particular Supreme really comes up lacking.

Topps needs to stick to what they know. Mid-end shiny frickin cards. Topps Chrome has been awesome for a long time. Make your one high end set be 5-star because those cards are great looking but just stop the rest of it.

Triple threads is one of the most gimmicky products out there. Yeah, I wanna pay $160 a box to pull an Alex Green jersey that says 'packer backer' and then a triple jersey of Stafford, Sanchez and Schaub that says 'signal callers.' I'm waiting for 2012 when I can see an Andrew Luck booklet that says, 'I ate cheerios for breakfast.'

Supreme is the same crap. 49 parallels numbered various ways which all amounts to a pile of donkey dookie.

Triple Threads is designed by blind people for blind people. Supreme, on the other hand, looks good. Its the same concepts with nice looking cards. TTT is not good looking by any stretch of the imagination.
