50 1888 Originals hand painted and numbered to 10 each.

Some might be.... but as an overall set will it be as popular in the long run?

Are they originals? Or hand-painted cards to resemble the originals?
I would venture that most will carry higher price tags than the originals.

I don't think they will gain as much interest/demand as it did with the Presidents from last years set...although if they had a way to do a mix of the 1888 originals as well as a mix of current players with customed "old school" looking uniforms and facial hair features and such that might add a bit more interest to the masses of collectors. Just my opinion though

Hand painted..... I just used the originals to show what the paintings might look like.

They'll do well, just not as well as the presidential ones since there are a separate collector base for those...
