All in all, an okay case. The Pujols chrome is a refractor, there was 2 Fielder image swaps and a Rivera image swap as well. I pulled 2 coin relics which is beats the odds and the other was a redemption for Mantle. No color swap variations as far as I can tell in my case, so those are definitely tougher than the image swap. Only 1 auto, but since it's a red numbered 63/63 to match the year and it's a HOFer, it works. Of course, my favorite card is the last one which appears to be just a normal high number Stanton, but it's the error SSP and it was the one variation I really wanted from the set, so yippee!

Very nice!

Are all the Stantons the same? I got one today in my box...but I don't know what the error(s) on it, along with the others, are.

On the back of the card where the stats columns are, check to see if a column is labeled with a 'W'. It's supposed to a 'R' for runs, but the error is 'W' for wins which is similar to the error that occurred in 1963 for this card number 483. Hope that helps.

Thanx for the info! Alas, I have an "R." Ah well.

Solid Case. that is an awesome Red Auto!

How many Lawries in your case?

I believe 4. 2 of them were worthy of being in a toploader and the other 2 not so much, but only scanned 1 of them.

Scanned a couple more hits:

and after sorting through the case for the 3rd time, I finally found what looks to be my only color swap variation:

Nice to find a Pujols variation going it through it again. Definitely the color swaps are harder to get than the image swaps. I got 6 image swaps compared to the one color swap. My eyes are blinded after sorting every card in the case 3 times lol

What is the significance of the Lawrie? I pulled one and I saw one sold on eBay for a lot of money (for a base card).

I know he is a big prospect, but is there anything else or just that?

Nice pulls. Would you scan the back of the Mike Stanton Error Card and post it please? I'm compiling a visual checklist of all the error cards. Thanks!

It's his first true rookie card. His 2011 Bowman Chrome is technically an insert card and his first year card, but this Heritage card is a RC. I realize most believe the chrome is his rookie, but based on the old definition it is not. Another way to look at it, it is his first "rookie card logo" card.

Ahh. I didn't think about that.

Based on the "old definition," (pre-2006) the Bowman Chrome cards were the RC. The new RC logo thing is what is bullsh!t. Hell, USA cards were RC's under the old definition (Big Mac, Nomar, Helton, etc.) and that was way cooler than the new way where players have 10 years worth of cards before their "RC."

The background color of the name and the small photo are switched from the regular version. Look at the chrome version in the op first post and you will see what I mean.
