Updated to reflect Texeira and Rickey sales. Given the amount of Rickley collectors, I thought for sure it would have garnered more than the $701 it got.

I personally think his knob is jacked up

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the Heyward knob. Any thoughts on long term value? With Heyward I know it's a risk but I'm just talking about in general.

That thing was not worth half the price it got, you can get a full length game used bat for close to that price. I know most of the Henderson collectors were not intersted for those reasons, myself included

This has come up in a few different threads but can't you say this about a lot of cards? Such as "that card isn't worth that much because I could just buy an entire jersey or bat for that price"? Comments to this have been that some people collect baseball cards and some collect sports memorabilia; not to be confused with one another and some don't have interest in collecting both for tons of reasons. This is all just what others have said on other threads...

As for this particular knob, Topps did a crappy job on this knob.... it was like a chip off the knob of one of his bats IMO

You missed the Starlin Castro that was listed. REALLY COOL piece with a ton of writing on it. My buddy sold it offline, I will find out what he got on it.

It's been awhile. Crazy busy @ work.

Anyway, updated to reflect Strawberry, Sandoval, Castro, Reggie, Heyward, Schmidt, Kiner and Dawson sales.
Also of note, Strawberry went for $1,899 which is the 2nd highest confirmed sale price behind Clemente @ $3,049.00.

Also pulled and listed: Granderson, Yount, Papi and Carlton.

Still yet to be pulled (From what I can see): Ripken, Banks, Mattingly, Aaron, Hamilton, Gehrig, Ruth and my guy Jim Rice.

Is it just me or is that a redic price on the Strawberry?

My LCS pulled a knob (already posted), what are the odds two could come from the same shop? With big names still out there, makes you want to chase the golden ticket ;)
