I think Denzel ward is going to be a beast. Wasn't surprised when he left though, Michigan moved in on him very early, and he hadn't really blown up yet. Can't win them all...

We just have to keep him happy. He's got offers from Florida, Oklahoma and UCLA still on the table and part of me thinks he'll decommit again. Wondering if he's watching our games thinking that he can help right away....or that he doesn't want to be a part of that.

I am most excited about Robinson though. Bout time we won out on a legacy recruit!

Florida's or if they offer, Ole Miss's.

Ole Miss might throw some cash at him like they did Treadwell, Tunsil and Nkemdiche. Or at least have a few co-eds show him some nice southern hospitality.

It's kind of fitting that Purdue is getting killed at home while Joe Tiller is inducted into the Purdue HOF.

Like I said, we suck. We ripped the redshirt off our golden child QB recruit because the 5th year glorified RB we had playin QB wasn't cutting it.

We might not win another game, but at least we will be able to throw the ball. Kid has a Joe Flacco-esque rocket arm. He also has the touch of Flacco which is a problem but it looks like he is the guy from here on out. I think Denzel Ward is going to stick with us. He already told Florida to stop recruiting him and he cancelled his UCLA visit. We need some more big time OL and DL until we can compete again...but Hazell is a solid coach and we have a lot of playing time to sell.

Oh boy... Things are getting bad at Purdue:

Two Purdue football players arrested at Kohl's department store - Purdue Exponent: Sports

The bad thing is, it was from Kohl's. Nothing at Kohl's is even full price! These guys have nothing on Frank Clark! (Allegedly)

For Purdue football players, once they graduate, it's tough to explain on a job application. The theft thing will be difficult also.

Purdue football is tough to explain on a job application? Cmon.....

You act like every school doesn't have issues like this. When you look at the football team....really any football team for that matter, the instance of crime is often lower than that of the school's general population as a whole.

The kids made a mistake, give them strike one and a 1 or 2 game suspension and move on. What's silly is that its for a $20 tie bar. I guess we don't pay our players as well as other schools do so they go steal?

The whole thing was kind of in jest, that's why I threw in the Frank Clark reference. Just made me laugh that it was for a few $20 tie bars at a discount store. I agree it isn't a huge issue.

I'm upset it was a tie bar and not at least a pocket watch or a monocle.

Go Hoosiers! Pretty exciting SMU-Rutgers game too.

Florida St looks awesome. Should be a great game against Clemson in 2 weeks.

Jerry Kill is out again with another seizure.

If I understand it correctly, he didn't travel with the team as he was feeling ill. He was supposed to fly in before the game, but then he had another seizure.
