It's always fun to read peoples pickup threads and I know some player collectors have gotten some cornerstone cards this year.

So with 2013 behind us and a new year and new collection ideas on the horizon, what are your top 3 cards you picked up in 2013??

Great topic, hard to keep it to three after getting some big names off my hof want list but here's mine. Plus the one in my sig

The three that stick out to me the most. My first two GU pieces from JJ (bat, just in the mail today and the cleats, from 2011). The Booklet came in mid January as well.

Got the first 1/1 from Yount in an A&G release ever:

And for the second year in a row, I got the bat knob out of Tier 1:

Also picked up Frank's rip card and double rip card from Ginter, both unripped. I've attempted "rainbows" of Ginter in the past, and this year is my best showing.

Most limited '90s insert of the year is definitely the '98 Pinnacle Epix Moment Emerald with a print run of 30.

And I was finally able to land a team issued 1990 White Sox team photo.

These are my top three that I have scanned.

This isn't the hardest card to find, but is difficult to acquire without paying 5x what one should.

Then this one came from muskiesfan in the MTSS, and it is now one of my favorites.

#3 Ryan Suter game used gloves
#2 Adrian Peterson signed jersey
#1 Ryan Suter game used jersey

Met both Suter and Peterson in person to get the jerseys signed, those are my top two moments of the year.
