Yes.
And like usual, topps AGAIN....& AGAIN....drops the ball on a commercial. And im not talking about only the sound.

Granted, its only 15 seconds, maybe (yeah right) the 30 sec spot is different but as usual, all that is highlighted are base cards!

No mention of autos, gu, or even inserts. Its like its 1989 in their minds.

For years I've suggested @ conferences to spice up commercials & ads (in non hobby press) with gu & autos.

Why? Because unless you are a collector, you have no clue at all that gu & autos even exist in cards!

As a shop owner, I've seen it first hand but ironically during todays topps segment, after vasgergian mentioned these types of cards are possible, one or both of the other anchors couldn't believe it. They had no clue.

I remember a TV ad for Etopps a few years back, where it shows two guys messing around on the Etopps site while at work. As their boss is about to walk in, they try to close the page but can't, and wind up knocking the computer monitor off the desk right as the boss walks in, who then says: "Are you clowns on that Etopps site again?"

Thanks for implying that your customers are clowns, Topps.
