Don't forget that one of the main reasons he says that he came out so early was that he didn't want to be bothered too much by all the questions about it, in team interviews, whether at the Combine or his second interviews.

I think his skills will be the deciding factor. Part of it will be the fact that the Rams have pretty good LBs already. He'll have to win the Coaches over via SpecialTeams, hustle and overall attitude, just like most Low round picks. Hopefully he proves to be better than a typical 7th Rounder...

I thought your team for sure was going to draft Manziel.I can't even imagine what Manziel mania would be like in Dallas.

A couple of thoughts on the draft:

Really happy for Sammy to get picked so high. I think Buffalo could be onto something in the next couple of years. Lots of explosive talent.

I absolutely hate the Jeremy Hill pick for the Bengals - not talent reasons, just because he has proven to have no character. I don't want people like that on my team - not that Carlos Hyde has shown much more.

Steelers got a nice pickup in Martavis Bryant. If he can keep it together, they have their next Emmanuel Sanders. Bryant can fly straight line and started to learn how to be a receiver.

I don't get why some QBs drop. Tajh should probably be a tad higher based on his deep ball. Logan Thomas should not even get a shot at QB. He did nothing to prove he can be one.

I wonder if we will see a decrease in underclassmen declaring. Too many went late or undrafted.

jeremy hill seems like he could be a good replacement as the law firm continues to age for the bengals.

liked the falcons first two picks, hated the rest though. GM needs to stop trying to be a draft guru with his hipster ass picks that no one's heard of. There's a reason no one was drafting those guys...

Wish Rams would have found a WR, surprised they bypassed them all.Looking forward to seeing Quinn, Long, Brockers, and Donald wreaking havoc this year. For once, the Raiders made a lot of nice picks. The world must be topsy turvey when the Raiders are having a good draft. What the hell is the world coming to?Someone bring Davis back from the dead so they take some project who never plays with their top pick.

I am biased about Ricardo Allen being a Purdue fan, but he's a great fit for the Falcons as a nickle corner. Even though he's small, he's quick and super physical. He tackles his ass off and will be great on slot guys. He ended up playing MLB for us last year so his lack of pass defense #s hurt his perception but as long as he's not tasked to cover an elite WR down the field he will be just fine.

With Sam, I am glad he got drafted and is getting his shot. Especially with the "home town" team. About as accepting of an atmosphere that he could have hoped for.

I was more concerned that his sexuality was going to cost him his SHOT, not a spot on the team. If he's a legit locker room distraction or not cut out to play in the league, then he won't last long. The NFL is a meritocracy, if he can play he will get his shot to play. I just wanted him to get that chance, thats all.

I welcome him to the STL.Dude balled in college, and I look forward to see what he can do at the next level.Fisher can never get enough pass rushers.Rams finally worth watching again. And he will be reunited with teammate Gaines again.
