With the series in Sydney almost finished and Bonehead Selig teasing that there are ongoing negotiations for a 2015 MLB international opening series, where would you want to see it held or what places would surprise you?

I would like to see it held in Rome or London.

Considering everyone orgasms over Mariano, I wouldn't be surprised if Panama City gets a season-opening series.

I'd be surprised if it was held in Montreal (probably too many ticked off people to support a series there), and would be shocked if it was Caracas or Bogota, considering the instability and security risks of that part of the world. I think considering the number of players that region of the world, those cities deserve consideration but not until they get their stuff in order so it's not a security risk to travel there to play a series.

I propose the Estadio Sonora in Hermosillo, Mexico. Home of the 2013 Caribbean World Series:

The Houston Astros and Miami Marlins will open the 2015 season at Yanggakdo Stadium in North Korea.

How about we get some baseball in frickin Hawaii first! Comeon! An American state without baseball is a travesty!

Does the U of Hawaii not have a baseball program?

I know there used to be the Hawaii Islanders triple-a club, but that seems like ages ago.

I don't think Honolulu would be too bad of place to have a season-opening series. As to regular MLB-type baseball there, probably not. I don't think tourists book their tickets thinking they have to go to Honolulu to watch a MLB game. They want sun, surf, hiking, resorts, volcanos, and the rarely found macademia nuts. ;)

The moon. If not there, Russia. If not there, Iraq.
