Ouch--that averages out to about 1 auto every 26 packs. I'm sorry to hear you had such a ROUGH break...keep us posted as to Topps' response.

So you were shorted 2 autos out of 240 packs?
Thats not bad for Topps.
I've been shorted 2 autos from one box!
Aside from the poor Auto-per-pack ratio this is the really idiotic thing from Topps with the redemption program. For the 18U the autos are /99 which is the same as Blue Ref Autos (from BC). But in the long run is someone going to opt for color or not? The blues win out of course and thus giving the redemptions less value to my mind - should have given them a color (purple, green...something).BowmanChromeAddict said:Also, 3 of my usa autos are repeats from BC (Vanegas, Simms, and McCullers) and all they are are base autos with a /99 serial number on the back. Not even a different picture.

It went something along the lines of customers ordering X amount of cases would receive an additional X amount of redemption packs. I can't remember the specifics but it got literally no attention when it was posted.
Bill Menard said:I COMPLETEY and I do mean COMPLETELY understand your frustration, Jim. You did however, have the chance to use them as "added value" to your purchases as both the packs and the redemption wrappers are selling quite well (and I believe they are still going up in price). I mean, no matter how you look at it, you got something extra. Clearly though, you didn't hit much of anything to be excited over and only 8 autos is HORRIBLE. I don't know that there were stated odds on hitting autos though that were ever released or guaranteed (like the one prospect auto per sealed hobby box that'd they make right by the customer if they opened a box and didn't get an auto).
Without oddsack info there is no way to really know if you were super unlucky or others that have posted their breaks were lucky. Maybe the odds really are supposed to be 1:30 packs. There is just no way to know. But there was about two grand of added value to your case breaks with this redemption program that you otherwise would not have had. But again, I totally understand the frustration.

Geesh. Greed is amazing.
