I agree here. I won't be in on a team slot structure but will try and work a deal with the Indians, White Sox and Orioles owners for the rights to Belle cards that are hit. Or might just sit out all together. I'm really only in it for the entertainment and the totally rare possibility of a super rare Belle card that hits. As I said originally when this was coming up, I think out of the 32 boxes, I only needed cards out of like 10 that I don't have for Belle

Anyways, I would suggest no matter what we do, that we wait until the cards from this break are mailed out and received so we can all try and wrap our heads around how we did. I have no idea how many Belle's I'm getting and really don't have a clue to what Indians cards I might be getting.

I think this is a good way to look at it. Although I do want to keep the Cubs in the next break as well. I have no idea what I will be getting but I am excited to see. I do think when everybody sees what cards they get it will help.

1996 Circa (Raves)
1997 Donruss Elite(Some nice on card autos)
1996 Leaf Signature(mainly for the platinum press proofs)
1997 Ultra (lots of cool inserts)

I am not sure how these would fit in with the current prices of the other boxes but it would be nice so see something new.

1996 Studio for the silver press proofs /100 would be nice as well. For some reason I remember the silvers being retail only - could be wrong about this.

Hey guys, sorry to get to this late I'm battling sickness, but I appreciate everyone's involvement. I def will take everything said into consideration.

A few quick comments, from the pre break research til now it seems like the majority collect a player not a team. Again I'm not saying no to anything, but if I start moving Edgar, Randy, etc to say the Mariners, is there a buyer at $40 for the team?

We sold like 75% in this structure, it seemed to fill ok, does anyone think another way would fill better?


In regards to costs of slots, I tried to keep it tight, if I start taking off $30 on Jeter, Griffey , $5 on so n so, then it's a loss. As I stated in the chat during the break, after shipping , boxes, etc , I'll make like $150 and spent prob 40 hrs working on it over a few weeks. But again I will try to be fair in any version.

In regards to suggestions, I def will look at em. That 97 Studio was Magazine Retail packs and I haven't seen one. But I will put all suggestions into my list and look. I'd like to keep it in this range of costs, but as many have stated maybe over 2 days. Maybe get a really premium box into the next one also.

Some of the rare hits were pulled, yes most went to team collectors but they bought in too. It would have been extra exciting for the 24kt, PMG, or Starting 9 to be a star, but there were some rare hits.

I def will remove some of the boring boxes from consideration. Some just sucked, but Stadium, Brilliants, Pacific, Metal etc may be back if there is support for em.

Anyway thanks to everyone, sorry for those who didn't land something and came out SOL, but I think it was fun.

****Also in regards to who gets a dual player card, it was all laid out beforehand but I will listen to suggestions. Some say who paid more, but what if its a $40 slot n a $30 slot, is it still fair? If its Jeter at $130 n Ripken at $115 is the Ripken slot not worthy at a shot? Just seems like there could e issues that way also, but I'm all ears

Regarding who a multi player card goes too, if it is a legit dual player card, just have it be whoever is closest to the top left of the card or whatever. Or flip for it. Def don't like the highest price paid for the slot gets it bc of the reasons you've stated.

I was at work when Ghumbs told me I had a coin flip shot at a Jeter/Rolen dual auto. That was freakin awesome! I think the flip makes sense. We both had skin in the game and don't get me wrong, I would've cried all night if the flip went the other way but thats life! How cool would it have been for Rookieaddict to end up with that auto!

Hi as stated in the details of break cards should all be sent by 6/6. If I can some may go by 6/5, but 6/6 is date I planned to ship. Thanks

I'm also curious to look at how many of certain players I got, etc.

I guess 1 Rivera in every 4th box sounds right? Maybe not, I guess you'd think you'd get more, maybe 1 in every other box or every 3rd box?

Got mine today as well. Brewers are gonna hit big next round! Might wanna use a couple more packing peanuts in the future, a couple stacks shifted easily and got a little dinged though admittedly there wasn't much worth protecting! That said, my lady is way too excited about this sweet AIC can koozie. Thanks again for all the work that you put in, it was a blast!

****regarding Mariano, sorry he was on the low end of individual players. I'd say average single player was 20ish, some into the 30s
