In this classic 1983 movie, a character named "flick" famously got his tongue stuck to a frozen pole.

That actors name is scottie Schwartz who has owned a memorabilia store in California since 1987.

He also helped get Donruss Americana set off the ground.

He actually wasn't frozen to the pole, his tongue was held in place by a tiny suction hose. It was over 60 degrees at the time, in Cleveland, where it was shot. There was no snow. It was all instant mashed potatoes. 100 percent true!
