I've started carrying blaster boxes in my store and have to say, my customers and I have been VERY happy with them.

My prices are either a little lower or little higher (at most $3 higher) than target and the marts with many of my blasters being LESS than those stores.

Anyway, over the last several days I've sold a large amount of bowman blasters and each and every customer has been very happy with the results.

My stores results may differ from yours but so far, this is how the blasters have broken down:

8 packs a box
8 bowman & 2 chrome cards per pack
1 ice parallel
1 colored numbered parallel

But here's the key, every other box has had an autograph (either plain or numbered) and nearly every box has had a bryant chrome, abreu chrome or tanaka bowman.

It's really nice to have a cheap priced "box" of cards to offer which delivers in content.

With bowman hobby being so so over priced right now, you should consider looking into blaster boxes as long as youre not expecting to find a SUPER MOJO LOOK WOW RARE card (although these can be found in these boxes)

I've bought probably 6 or 7 of them so far and have hit 5 auto's, with a few being #'d. Also have multiple #'d cards in most boxes. Some as low as /25. They've been really good for me.

I've bought 1 blaster and 6 racks..

3 autos : including two orange /250

2 Bryant chrome
1 Abreu Chrome
2 Tanaka base

A bunch of numbered color paper.

Bryant International

I think retail is pretty decent this year, but maybe I've just been lucky.

All of this cost me $80 plus tax, close to the price of a hobby box.

I was in Target on Monday and was eyeing up cards for the first time in a couple years. I picked up 3 of blasters and then put them back right before checkout. I'll have to go back and actually pull the trigger this time.

You are going to "pull the trigger" at "Target" and your user name is Sig40cal. That is awesome!

I have said this before and I will say it again. So get the rocks and pitchforks ready.

I see no need for there to be a difference between Hobby and Retail packs. No offense but there are so few hobby shops any more I don't see the need for it.

For us collectors that live in a rural area out choices are to order online or go to Walmart. Heck I am 45 minutes from a Target even. The nearest hobby shops are 45 minutes away one way with one in Winston-Salem, NC or over an hour away in Salem, VA.

I liked your idea of hobby blasters and I think these should be in stores like Walmart and Target. Also Panini retail products absolutely suck compared to the same boxes/packs in hobby. I will not buy another Panini product at retail unless there is a good incentive to do so.
