Chicago is now paid for and i'll have alot of walking around money thanks to dom brown. I cant believe anyone can still be holding since a regression has to be coming. i dont mean he goes back to the last few years, but he will come back down to a more rational pace...

Sure, 9 HR in the last 9 games...hard to maintain that, but it doesn't mean he's at his peak. ESPN is talking about him everyday. He's now the anchor of the franchise (the essence of what ESPN was saying). Does he really have to hit a HR every day to maintain these prices? All we need is more buyers to the market now that they are aware of this young power hitter who is now the savior of the whole city of Philadelphia (trust me...that's all that they are talking about in Philly right now...beyond Chip Kelly everything else is doom and gloom).

To each his own i guess but i'll take 5-600% profits when i can get them...

His prices are this hot because he's getting national attention. When the Hr's stop coming, interest will move to the next hottest guy in baseball.

And I am glad that I pushed you into making that happen. :)

Jim, even in 2009, one could buy Ryan Howard BBest autos and 03 Chrome for half of what they were going for when he came up in 07.

I'm not saying that I won't be listing my cards, I'm just saying that I don't think we're in for a crash after he has a game with no homeruns. He'd been all but forgotten and he's reminding everyone that it wasn't that long ago that he was the #1 prospect in baseball.

How are those Drabeks and D'Arnauds treating you?

When opportunity knocks, you gotta take it.

Sell 'em now instead of being greedy.
Zero walks in the entire month of May shows he swings at everything, and pitchers are going to stop throwing strikes to him.
It's common sense, but a lot of new prospectors don't have any.

Brown's fun to watch, though. If he learns patience, he'll be awesome. Or he could be like Vlad and swing at crap and still hit tons of homers.

If you want to knock me, you gotta knock me for Drabek and Cardenas. D'arnaud has been nothing but kind to me. Sure, I have a few cards left, but that's all gravy...even the Superfractor.

Jim, since I have your attention...

This would have bankrupted me in 2005, had he signed the contract with Topps. I need to ask him why he has a Finest Auto but not a Chrome auto..... because it looks like he almost did.

Dom Brown has always been patient which you can see in previous seasons. His power will go down and his walks will go up and what we see right now is a blip on the radar screen when it comes to walks.

Where did that come from? I think you and I would have done battle on that. Of course I'm still sitting on his actual superfractor...have $300 into it if I recall correctly.

Yeah, I'm with phillyfan, the walks don't bother me, he just got hot and was hitting better. Plus, he's had two walks in the three games since. As said, he's always been pretty patient and the "no walks' month was just kinda an anomoly to me. and NOT worrisome.

And I think he's always shown the capability to be a perennial All-Star. Maybe not always a Starter but on the team...

why do some people have such a hard time giving people credit when they do something good. (its a fluke) (wont last) and so forth. Who cares if it doesn't. At this moment he is one of the hottest hitters and has the award to prove it. Why cant he keep this going? maybe now that he is playing a lot more he is getting into the grove of the big league pitchers.

For those of you selling: are you spelling his first name DomOnic or DomInic? Or are you just matching what the card says?
