Hard to tell from the scans provided, but are all the celestial backgrounds the same or do they differ?

They're basically the same, two distinct sky views, and then variations of the same.

Can we get a list of "predictions" from each of the celestial cards?

Having now viewed all of the celestial cards, I believe they may have some connection to the code, but I believe the base set is the key....Especially if there are no code cards as in previous years. I don't think insert and subsets will be a factor.

One thing I have noticed (I don't have any A&G in hand to tell, I have to rely on scans) in the base set, some cards seem to have a white border with a pale blue background and others no pale or light blue back ground at all. Maybe it's the quality of the scans, but see what I mean....

So I have pulled out all the non-champs and non-baseball players, an interesting group:

4 Scientists/Astronomers

Da Vinci
Newton
Copernicus
Galileo

Nemo a submariner
jules verne...author of exploration novels
Sig Hansen...boat captain
Betelgeuse...a distant star

Seems to be quite a bit on the ocean and the sky.

Looking at the descriptions below the birthdate, some letters kinda jump out...and all the letters are uppercase to begin with, it's just that words that start a sentence or signify a proper noun seem to start with a larger than normal sized uppercase letter.

Card 1 : MAAM 2010 Card 2: PPT 2010 T
Card 3: GTPJS Card 4: ICDT 2010
Card 5: LD 2010 Card 6: VC 2010 V
Card 7: CLTVME Card 8: SROS 2010
Card 9: IDSI 2010 Card 10: TCA 2010
Card 11: LVAF 2010 Card 12: TPIJ 2010

MAAM PPT TGTPJSICDT LD VC VCLTVMESROS IDSI TCA LVAF TPIJ

Could it be a sentence with all the letters randomly scrambled? Or signs of delusional thinking? Haha :benson:

I tried this also, never any good at the Jumble though. Could be hot on the trail or WAYYYYY off.

Good idea. However, I don't think there is a 3 letter english word that has double letters at the start - PPT. :|

YOU KNOW
howards birthday is 11/19
19-11=8
8 corresponds to H in the number/letter code. there is an extra H on the back of the howard card "has" is supposed to be "as" and there is the h in "HK" on the front of the card
idk

i also feel the predictions on the backs of these are important

for fielder it mentions the "entertainment industry" is there any musician in the base or insert sets?
for wright it mentions a "boom" anything in the base set that would match up to this (fireworks or something idk)

"two sides" on back of vlad could indicate maybe another side or card (base or rip etc) of vlad needs to be used

YOU KNOW
the word "start" is on the back of wright
so is "most" which is also on the back of vlad and pujols
pujols has "experience" as does Lee
Lee has "health" as does Longo
Longo has "signs" as does texiera
tex has "such as" as does jeter, maybe why howard is "such has" but i think 1 or 2 more have "such as" also, but they are already paired up with something

start most experience healthy signs such as

if i use players more than once then jeter shares with longo "stability" so
start
most experience healthy signs such as stability

fielder and lincy share "sucess"
pedroia and fielder have "force" and "forceful"

hmmmmm
hmmmmmmmmm
hmmmm

Well all of the ocean references are tied to constellations since ships use astronomy for positioning. It is interesting that Lincy has the term July to September. The first correlation you guys should be trying to find is what sequence of constellations is being hinted to. Maybe as far as which constellations would guide what journey or path. Then put the cards in that order and see if there is a pattern.
