This is great... Patriots get SO much pub on this program and then all these small print things for trading a jersey of his in! LOL! So good... stay classy Patriots... stay classy.

New England Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston

I guess I'm different as I don't see an issue with putting fine print in there otherwise they will end up with a XXXX ton of ass clowns trying to trade in China made knockoffs. What am I missing otherwise?

All they're saying is it has to be an official Nike or Reebok jersey. Not sure why that's a big deal. You don't even need a receipt.

100% agree.

That's fine... I just found it interesting because the press I've heard is all about how the Patriots want to clean up their relationship with Hernandez and they don't want a bunch of his jersey's floating around or at at their games, etc. YET, if it isn't official and purchased in their store, well then good luck.

Just to be clear, I'm TOTALLY okay with them having rules or small print because it's their program and they can do what they want... my frustration is from everything we've heard thus far is how it's not like that and it's basically a program to get all this stuff off the streets and the team will take a hit financially to do so... that's just not the case when you read all the rules and restrictions.

they only want the official jersey sold at there store since those are the ones they will get the most money for when they have a 3rd party sell them on ebay for them.

Well, one of his buddies/co-horts told the cops about his P-Pad and they found "considerable amount of evidence" there, including what they think he was wearing that Sunday nite.

Evidently, this guy never saw any of the CSI-type shows on a constant 24 hour cylcle on multiple networks...

And now he's being looked at in another shooting and attempted murder case from back in 2007 where 2 men were shot in a vehicle one in the head & one in the arm. Supposedly it was Reggie Nelson & him both football players at Florida at the time. Hernandez was a freshman at the time & was wanted for questioning back then.

Actually the face shooting thing is not entirely true: he shot him in the arm/shoulder and it ricocheted to the face according to what I read. ;)

The way I understood it, the bullet traveled up his arm. That kind of thing would happen if someone was holding their hand out in front of them like "No, don't shoot me in the face!!!"

Just watch... He gets off all charges. Then plays for the Jets.

No way he beats the rap all the way IMO. Even he beats the heaviest chargers or his buddies take the fall for him, I'm pretty sure "obstruction of justice" is still gonna be there waiting for him.

And besides, with that offense next season, wouldn't playing for the Jets be worse than 21 hours a day in a cell? ;)

Agreed, no way he gets off. Even if he's cleared of murder, forget obstruction of justice, the gun charges are no joke. He is done in the NFL.

Dallas Morning News reporting JFK assassination is being reopened and some close to the situation say Hernadez is linked.
