It's Orange County, how long until we see a civil suit from a group of Angels season ticket holders claiming that he cost them the World Series/Playoffs?

(NOTE: Not making light of this in the slightest.)

Rather than having the taxpayers support this clown why can't we just put him to death? I'm in favor of that rather than letting him live on my dime. Well then again I don't live in California but given how the state is broke I would think they would be in favor of it too.

And Ray Lewis, Donte Stallworth, and Larry Little walk the face of the earth still to this day as free men. ::facepalm::

There are far worse people who have done far worse things with life sentences that you can say this about. A guy that drank and didn't intentionally kill anyone is a major reach. I find it funny how people get so up-in-arms when it's a "celebrity" who is the victim. Where are you when celebrities get away with crimes because they have money? I didn't see you calling for Donte Stallworth to be executed when he drove drunk and killed someone with his car.

It does not matter what his intentions were. The fact of the matter is that he did kill people. His blatent negligence resulted in the death of 2 people.

Here's a story about Donte Stallworth before you condemn him.

And Ray Lewis was never being accused of killing anyone. He was just accused of helping the killers.

Donte Stallworth committed the very same crime as this guy. The only difference is the guy who hit Adenhart was caught before for driving drunk and Stallworth wasn't.

So why isn't this guy calling for Donte Stallworth to be executed? He killed someone through negligence as well.

Obviously you did not read the article. Stallworth would probably not have been convicted of drunk driving if he had fought the case. His lawyers advised him to fight it, and he decided to plead guilty. He slept off a night of drinking and was unfortunately still slightly over the limit when he went to find breakfast in the morning and stopped once he realized what happened. This guy was WELL over the limit and ran after the accident. If you can't read and recognize the differences, then I don't know what to tell you.

Well I can't speak for him so I don't know. What I do know though, is how unjust the system normally is when it comes to these offenders. I applaud California for getting this one right. In 1999, on my 16th birthday both my grandparents and 2 Aunts were killed in Rockford Illinois by a non-citizen who was driving drunk. Despite the loss of 4 lives, and despite this being his 3rd DWI he was allowed to walk after 4 years in prison. Forgive me if I'm not as sympathetic to the man as you are.

Excuses made for celebrity, none made for Joe Schmoe. I get it. Celebrities get a pass, regular people get sent to prison for life. Makes sense.

4 years for that is absolutely ridiculous and shameful. 51 years to life is also ridiculous and shameful.

Being a little over the limit is like saying you barely killed someone. Stallworth got a pretty lenient sentence and so did Larry Little.
