Andrus
Price

I think Price and Wieters are going to end up being called up too late to really have a chance. Andrus has to be the favorite right now I would guess.

Damn, not like he will win, but Brett Gardner is barely eligible. I checked because when you put him in the thread, I thought for sure he was ineligible. He had 127 ABs last year.

I think a lot depends on how Porcello pitches on tuesday. If he pitches the Tigers into the playoffs, he definitely wins

Andrew Bailey will win.
A's relief pitcher is 6-3 with 26 saves and a 1.84 era.
No one else really stands out and Bailey has been dominating.

ESPN's Steve Phillips agrees about Bailey, and so do other baseball writers.
I know you have the hots for Beckham, and he had a good year, but .270 with 14 homers probably won't get him the ROY award.

It's a shame Niemann started to fall apart. I was really hoping for a Rays player to get it in back to back years.

i don't have the hots for him. do i like the player a lot? yes. do i want him to win? yes

but a reliever from a team that finished last in their division? that seems like a longshot to me. just my opinion, though. we'll let the writers decide

Where a team finishes has nothing to do with ROY, just ask Angel Berroa. It's best season, not most valuable.

If Porcello wins Game 163 in the Metrodome he may just pull enough votes to be the ROY.

Niemann's last victory may have gotten him back in the race, at least over Porcello
