Its really Cam making it work more then anything. Look at Brantley with Urban's Gator Heavy. Its not working. Auburn fans should enjoy it while they can at this level.

Liberate Baltimore said:During the Arkansas/Auburn game I shouted at the tube...."Just don't #*%@!& blitz!" Of course, the Hogs blitzed and got toasted. Why any defense would blitz Newton, when he has a very questionable throwing arm is beyond me.

Ole Miss didn't blitz. Hell, they used the WLB as a spy the whole game and didn't even pass rush with their defensive ends. That didn't work out too well for them.
Liberate Baltimore said:Nothing Ole' Miss does has any credibility. They lost to Jacksonville State.

Lots of bama fans are discounting auburn right now, but I am not one of them. They can play with anyone on offense.
If bama is to win it will have to come by controlling cam newton and keeping him bottled up. He is an underrated passer but isn't really effective inside the pocket.

"Wags Dixon pencil*
"Not so fast, my friend."
IF the Tigers EVER get anything out of their QB, they can play with anybody, especially at home.
And for TCU and Boise's sake, I'm rooting for Alabama, but not for Saban. Is that possible?
scottagibson said:Even if they had Peyton Manning, a defense who gives up 440 yards on the ground in a single game would struggle to compete with anyone. In my opinion, if LSU's punter was not as good as he was in that game against Auburn, it wouldn't have been as close as the score indicated.
Liberate Baltimore said:If this happened, Auburn should have the book thrown at them. All of their opponents should immediately be awarded victories for games that Newton appeared in. Additionally, kudos for Mississippi State for doing the right thing! It makes sense Newton would have wanted to originally have gone to Starkville with Mullin.
