7, I repeat, 7 ballots had him in 8th place or lower. I would LOVE to hear those writer's justification for those votes.

A couple of local sports guys on the radio had it coming down to Prince and Albert. They don't take calls, so it wasn't a point to argue or call them crazy. Albert was going to win, and it was about who else would finish where. Prince was definitely hosed for being behind Howard, but the playoffs matter in the minds of the voters. Oh, wait a minute, the Marlins weren't in the playoffs--what gives? ::facepalm::
