Good signs:
Ninth inning Rally
Posada got some hits
Swisher did something in the postseason
Garcia wasn't horrible, just one really bad pitch
Yankees best of bullpen rested
Bad signs:
Rally started in Ninth inning
Teixeira still king of popup
No-Hit till the sixth by a pitcher with a 4.44 ERA
I just want the next game in the series already.

Scherzer has been very hot and cold this year. When he has been good, he has been very good. When he is bad, he has been very bad. I wish the Tigers' coaches would figure out what he does when he is going bad and get it fixed.
Randy Shields said:Not only him but Porcello as well. They fired Pitching coach Rick Knapp in July and replaced him with Jeff Jones--at the time the Tigers bullpen coach. He's only held the position since early July and it's no small feat to change any pitcher up during the middle of the season, but hopefully during the off-season Jones will have some good ideas for these youngsters.

If there was a consistent zone both Sabathia and Verlander would have 50 pitches.
Either the ump is blind or pitch tracker is crazy messed up.
Oh, and tell me that batter didn't swing.

archiebunkerjr said:Yeah, Victor Martinez definitely swung at that one pitch. That was a bad call by the first base ump.
And that walk that Austin Jackson got after the Inge double was bad as well. Ball 3 and ball 4 were strikes.

Atleast it wasn't just me seeing this.
I am so glad that Gardner got that hit. That was a momentum changer, atleast it was for me. I was about to throw my remote through the TV (Banks style)
