Seems like when they blowout the team, they forget how to score the next day or 2!

He struggled since coming back from the knee surgery and the thumb problem.

He really did. People were really on him prior to the series starting. He and Gardner were huge.

ARod batting 4th is just a joke. He was completely over-matched, by EVERYONE on the Tigers except Ryan Perry. Keeping him in the 4 hole was a gigantic mistake by Girardi, in my opinion. And Posada batting behind Swisher? Doesn't make sense, after Posada showed this series he was possibly the Yanks best hitter behind of course Cano.

Of course, it's easy to say now. But the ARod thing I was saying early in the series. Can't believe he continued hitting 4th.

I agree. I've never followed Posada much, but man he played his heart out. Looked like the Posada of old.

Watching his post game presser, it's sad-I don't care who you root for or against. The guy sees the finish line of his career with the Yankees. This was probably his last game as a Yankee, unless he wants to be a backup next year. He was very emotional talking to the media, and you have to feel for a guy like that. Hate to see players when their career is winding down like that. Has to be pretty darn difficult.

I dont understand Girardi taking hughes out,he was doing the job.Him putting so many pitchers in didnt make sense to me.The Tigers only scored 3 runs,it not like they were scoring every inning.
