How does Salty not make the team even as a backup C? What has Napoli done better than him? Yes, I know....fans vote popularity contest blah blah, but Wieters over Salty? Ah well....still should be an exciting game.
I would choose Desmond to be the starting NL SS....he is tied for the lead in RBI for a SS (w/ Aviles).The fact that Mike Napoli, Pablo Sandoval, Adrian Beltre, and Rafael Furcal are starting is just a complete joke, IMO. Although the NL shortsops are not much to choose from.

Sabathia, who is currently on the disabled list, will be recognized as an All-Star and has been invited to Kansas City with full All-Star honors, but will be replaced by C.J. Wilson of the Angels, per the request of Washington.
