Yeah. Nice to see him make it.

I feel that Josh Willingham got snubbed though. Obviously not as a starter, but as a backup.

It's nice to see Adam Dunn make it. Only the second All-Star Game of his career.

How the hell did Brandon Phillips not make it?

3 Giants starters, hell yeah! To be honest, I am surprised Pablo is there missing so much time from the season. Really thought bumgarner and or Vogelsong would've made it.

Glad to see a rookie, Trout make it!

We might need a few more Rangers on the AL staff. :-?
No kidding, lol.

How does Salty not make the team even as a backup C? What has Napoli done better than him? Yes, I know....fans vote popularity contest blah blah, but Wieters over Salty? Ah well....still should be an exciting game.

Salty had no shot, even though he's having a great year. I honestly didn't think Wieters would make it b/c he had a horrible stretch offensively. But Pierzynski would have made it before Salty and got snubbed, IMO.

The fact that Mike Napoli, Pablo Sandoval, Adrian Beltre, and Rafael Furcal are starting is just a complete joke, IMO. Although the NL shortsops are not much to choose from.

I would choose Desmond to be the starting NL SS....he is tied for the lead in RBI for a SS (w/ Aviles).

Crackhead Ron Washington picks his whole roster from his team. Ridiculous. Might as well be the Rangers and former Rangers vs. the NL.

I bet you Wash only chose one Ranger - Matt Harrison. The rest were voted in by the fans and players. Besides, the Rangers are clearly the best team in baseball - why shouldn't they have the most reps.

I give Wash credit for not choosing both Harrison AND Darvish.

According to TBS on the selection show, he got to select 2 position players and picked Elvis Andrus and Ian Kinsler.

I stand corrected then. Clearly Andrus deserves to go. And he needed a backup 2B. I might have chosen Kipnis over Kinsler but Kinsler is one of the games stars.

I thought LaRussa did an awesome job this year. I really thought he would overload the squad with Cardinals.

Sabathia, who is currently on the disabled list, will be recognized as an All-Star and has been invited to Kansas City with full All-Star honors, but will be replaced by C.J. Wilson of the Angels, per the request of Washington.

Pick #3 for Washington. (Former Ranger) :)

This is two years in a row that CC will be an All-Star but won't be there. I think that he enjoyed going to Hawaii during the break last year that he decided to take a two week vacation this year...
