I sold this item, 1994 Nabisco All-Star Autographs 3 Frank Robinson Auto [ebay:3u591iea]370450854100[/ebay:3u591iea] on November 2nd. It was paid for on the 6th and I mailed it the next business day.
Yesterday I received this message from the buyer: This listing says 3 autographs. I only received 1. Please explain. Thank you.
My reply was: I can only assume that you are referring to the 3 in the title between the set name and player name. That is in reference to the card number, not how many cards are being offered in the auction.
Buyer: Really? Show me on the front of the card, or the back of the card, or on the certificate of authenticity where any No. 3 appears. Explain why the No. 3 fails to appear on any of the 30 current listings for this same item, or upon any completed auctions for this item. Your posting was false, deceptive and misleading. Please respond.
Me: I can't answer to why other listings don't have a 3 in them since I didn't create those listings. As to it being 3 in the set, I received that information from Beckett.com (http://beta.beckett.com/item/4064138/Baseball-Sports-Card/Collection/1994-Nabisco-All-Star-Autographs-3-Frank-Robinson/?tab=Overview#tabContent). I'm not seeing how my title was false, deceptive or misleading. It went in this format; year, set, number, name, and attribute. Which is the format I use for all my auctions, but due to limitations on how many characters are allowed in a title, sometimes items need to be shortened or taken out, in this case it was the # sign.
Buyer: I am not satisfied with your explanation. I will communicate further over the weekend. If we cannot resolve the issue, we will presumably have to go through the dispute resolution procedure.
I understand it is only $12, but I don't feel like I did any wrong with the way I listed it. And there is another listing of this card that has 3 in the title, in the same place it is in my title, [ebay:3u591iea]250350676970[/ebay:3u591iea].
