Why would the Revere plate just listed have to have $8 shipping? ::facepalm:: Almost would be worth it to buy it cheap and file a claim to get back $6 out of the shipping

I don't get why people bitch about shipping all the time. It's a choice to bid on items... If the card is worth $13 to you, bid on it. If not, who cares? There are much greater injustices in the world than worrying about someone possibly making less than $5 on shipping on you.

What your saying makes sense but awhile ago I bought a couple items from one guy who said in both descriptions that he would combine shipping for more then one auction. He then combined the prices (full shipping price listed for both cards) then shipped them together in one manilla bubble envelope. His arguement when I messaged him was he combined the shipping prices just like he said. However saying you'll combine shipping insinuates that you'd pay one shipping price for both single cards. Oh well still gave him positive feedback but won't buy from him again.

Anyone else that has had any of the framed AG, T206, Mayo, etc. mini autos that has just removed them from the boring outer shell? Had a Span t206, Robiskie Mayo, and Casilla AG that I ripped from the holders

Not sure if anybody knew already or not but I just saw that Brian Duensing tweeted today that he's signing at the Roseville pro shop tomorrow from 12-1. I would like to be able to go to get him on a 2011 Heritage card but I have class at that time :(

Went to the game last night...my girlfriend got us Legend's Club tickets from her work for my birthday. When it started raining we moved back a few rows to be under the awning. A couple innings later, Tony Oliva came & sat behind us & was talking with some ladies there he knew. I was going to ask for a picture with him, but this ********* kept talking his ear off & you could tell he was annoyed. Eventually he left...when we were walking out, he was sitting at a table so we stopped....

[quote="Musial Collector":26gyobjg]I won a sweeeeeeeeeet charity auction a week ago Friday.
I have a game used bat that I know Cuddy hit a HR with
I now have the HR ball that he hit :o

IMO pretty freaking cool to have the bat and ball HR combo
I will post pics tomorrow of both :D

There probably aren't too many of those combos (minus special homeruns)

Can't wait to see some pics!

On top of the above, it just happened to be a game I attended (June 9, 2011), so I saw the HR too. Bought the bat on a whim at Target Field at the end of August while at a game. Looked up the halo # when I got home that night, and found out it was from that game, pretty sweet. Then Im looking at the Cheerful Givers site (an organization that Cuddy supports) and looking thru their stuff up for auction and see a ball, click on it to look at it and low and behold, it is that HR ball, #8 on the year, and Cuddy even inscribed it, its pretty freaking sweet IMO.

So at the game, see the HR in person, luck has it I buy one bat of many from the pro shop at TF and just happens to be this bat and somehow end up looking at the cheerful givers site and luck has it this ball is up for auction. Unreal circle of events. :) Now if somehow I get the jersey from that game, I may just go into

Truly awesome story. I can't tell you how much I love hearing these stories especially from another Cuddy fan. Stoked for you man. Sounds like great display opportunities. Still have the ticket from the game? I know a few season ticket holders that might still have their tickets. Lmk if you need help finding one.[/quote:26gyobjg]

Ball is in hand, at work so will post pics tonight.
But check this out, ball is MLB hologrammed

Hologram number FJ414358 was located in the MLB Authentication Database under PLAYER COLLECTED BASEBALL.
Session Product Description:

Session Name: TEX AT MIN
Session Date: June 09, 2011
Autographer:
Authenticator: AUTHENTICATORS, INC.
Additional Information: PRESENTED BY TWINS PITCHING COACH RICK STELMASZEK AS PITCH BY DEREK HOLLAND TO MICHAEL CUDDYER, 3 RBI HOME RUN INTO THE TWINS BULLPEN, BOTTOM OF THE 5TH

-------------------------------------------------------

On top of that, I also won from the charity what I am pretty sure is a player issued All Star Game cap to Cuddyer that he didnt wear but signed. I say "Im pretty sure" because on the back of the cap where the MLB logo is, there is the gold star that is on either side of the logo, and I know for a fact that the players were given these types of caps after their AS selection, I remember seeing the All Star players wearing them in games prior to the ASG.

Good game last night. Sat in the right field bleacher seats since it was so nice out--and the stadium wasn't very full. Tosoni's granny landed about 12 feet to my right! Watched it bounce off one guy's hands, and the the next guy grabbed it one-handed. The Twins' people came around, and eventually they escorted him and his wife away. Found out later that it was Tosoni's first grand slam--in his entire life. Guess that was worth some memorabilia. If only it was me. Oh, the Dinkelman (and Tosoni) stuff I'd have to show today! Hopefully Pavano can pitch well tonight and we can avoid the dreaded 100-loss season!

Feller is bringing in Reardon and Bobby Hull to TwinsFest.

I will try to get both... Reardon on an 87 Fleer, and Hull on an 8x10.

Reardon is pretty easy TTM, but just for the sake of adding another sig, I might get him on the card or 8x10. Hull is more important.

Parm with another blast last night for #4 on the year.

Should we start speculating on when he will surpass Barry Bonds for the home run record?

Do the Twins win tonight and finish with 99 losses or do the lose and finish with the dreaded 100 loss season?

I say they win, but as a Twins fan, doesnt really matter to me if they have 99 or 100 losses, they still had a horrible year either way, they need to revamp this off season, make some tough choices (trim the fat/cut some dead weight) and come back with a lets go from worst to first attitude next season.

BTW--and I don't usually do this--I am bidding on the Dink Bowman Press Plate on ebay right now. So please don't compete and drive the price up. Go bid on Revere, Tosoni, Parm, or some other hot young Twins. ;) Thanks.
