If I come, I will sign for free, I won't sign jerseys, cards, baseballs, mcdonald's stuff, index cards, mini helmets, t-shirts, your face, or your socks.

Inscriptions would cost eleventy-billion dollars.

Well an extra 1st rounder for the Twins wouldnt be the worst.......Not to mention they will get Appel or Marrerro at 2, so I would be happy If i were a Twins fan....

I would love to have Cuddyer back, but at the same time this team can't afford to overpay for him. Knowing how much we're overpaying for other players and likely the $$$ that the Phillies will throw at him I'm not sure if we can come close.

I put my Cuddy 8x10 in a pre-matted frame. It looks great!

Got a TTM from TK in today, and I also got the Twins cards from a Diamond Anniversary set. I am debating if I should get them signed or not.

Honestly, this is the best off-season move that the Twins could have made. It will likely end up being better than any player moves that we make but I have been wanting Smith gone for what seems like forever now and with Ryan coming back, at least in the short term gets me excited as to what we might do.

Terry Ryan is coming back?

That's awesome! I was just thinking of him yesterday. I need him to sign an OMLB for me. When I met him, I had him sign an OLB and he has such a nice sig...

Ryan is one of the coolest guys I have ever met. He enjoys a chat with anyone willing to talk to him.

Agreed, be nice to see what Ryan can do with some money to spend. He did really well with almost no money. Despite the Mauer contract he'll still have more to spend then he used to.

Mauer and Morneau contracts are just killers. Two guys stealing boatloads money and always hurt and now have no power. So they we are stuck with guys and bad contracts.

Rumor out here in Boston is Cuddyer is high on Sox list of FA.

We all would have been pissed at the time if the Twins did nothing with them, so while it hurts, we really can't complain.

I wouldn't have given into Mauer. I would have called his bluff. Was a terrible contract from day one, with his past injury history. When he had this home town discount, then came back wanting like 60 million more. It went from 120 million to 180 million for a broken down singles hitting catcher. He screwed the Twins. He knew they had to sign him with new stadium. Main reason why I don't like him at all. Good for him that he cashed in huge, terrible for the Twins having to pay him for next 7 years. He played the team for every cent he could get. Then to come out and play average since getting the big payday is sickening. I bet if Twins didn't sign him he would have gotten in the 120 range from another team. Right now if he was FA, he would probably get 3 year 30 million dollar deal.
Morneau deal at the time was the going rate. Just too bad he is softer than soft. Neither one of these guys is someone you build a title contender around.
Best thing for Twins to do is stink and hope they hit with high draft picks the next couple years. Ride out these bad contracts and rebuild. Not much else than can do.
