I live in the Cities, and haven't heard a thing about it, so no, it's not getting any media attention.

He and 7 other vendors sold to minors at a game in September, supposedly. They were all fired, but Wally says he was swarmed (I think, he says he has some police action to fight I guess) during the game. The police deny it.

He denied his plea deal for a 1 year suspension/$300-$500 fine (I have seen places say both numbers).

Twins say that after this mess is solved, they will try to find him a non-alcohol vending job.

I agree, a complete non-story as far as the 5 o'clock news... just a little sidenote on the website.

Wally rules though... I have a couple of his cards. Very cool guy in person

Sad to see him go. But It's for the best. A change will do him good. I think once the whole tweet gate thing went down last year. His days were # as a Twin. Hope he makes the Padres. I'm sure the twins shopped him for trades but no one wanted to give up anything for him. Any news on what the plan is for his 40 man spot on the team?

Scott Baker is doing a public signing at FanHQ on the 9th for pretty cheap... if anyone is going, PM me because I have something I want signed (it is a fairly cheap signing IMO).

Neshek said that Bill Smith called him around 1:30, and around 10 minutes after the call, the equipment manager (I believe) from the Padres called to set up plans for him to head to Arizona.

He does get to wear #34, and if I am correct, he is a big Puckett fan.
