looks sweet. I think Baker doesn't sign ttm and is tough ip. So spending $10 isn't all that bad to get nice looking graph on it. Nice of MC to get it done for ya.
If I was in Town I would have done 3 for $25. Ginter card would have been a lock, maybe nice 8x10 if they had any with old school jerseys and maybe TF omlb ball from last season.

IDK IP on him, but he is ok TTM. I would much rather spend $10 on this stub for a guaranteed auto instead of wondering about it.

They had all three of those for sale there, next time ask, if I can go, I will get stuff signed for you, I dont have a problem helping out other collectors.

Do you need to get the ticket a few hours in advance, or can you just walk right into line during the signing? Hoping they get Slama or Burnett there soon

Depends, if you have a guy like Nathan or Cuddy or Span there, you better buy in advance. Guys like Baker, Slowey, Burnett, etc you can walk right up, just like I did yesterday.

I would think so, as to the best of knowledge they are not giving out any sort of tickets, as its free, so your only choice will be to walk up.

100 isn't many, but can Butera command 100 requests? It would be crazy to see if Nishi does any appearances--after all, he's got a broken leg, not a sore wrist.

Went to the game today--good to see you today, Chris--and picked up two of the team sets at Target on the way home. $4.99 at Target, $10 at Target Field! Maybe I'll send a Nishi in for a TTM.

The Twins player appearance calendar says first 100 after 4PM get tickets

OK, if you consider them handing out free tickets 2 hours before a signing as getting tickets in advance, so be it.

Free autos usually brings out everybody. I bet they do well with that one.

Nishi should get a few certs I would think this year. I hope he gets a card in GQ. Those look to be Ginter like and could be great for graphs.

I will be the first this season to call for Gary's head. I like him, but he is a first round playoff manager at best. Not a World Series manager. Who takes over for gardy at some point. Twins grooming anyone down the road? They like to keep it in house.

Easter weekend, tough to say if they will easily do 100 or not.

I agree free is a great "selling point", but is Butera that big of an appearance pull?
If you get there at 4 to get a ticket, I dont think I could kill 2 hours at Ridgedale. Tough to say if I will bother with this now. And I ask, why the hell is he only doing 100 in 75 minutes? He should be at 150-200 easily.

Finally, what the heck does this mean?
"Must remain present at the event in order to redeem ticket for the autograph session"
Does that mean I have to stand in a line for up to two freaking hours?
My answer, hell to the NO will I do that.

Gardy? It's Joe Vavra who should get the boot. How can you have this many guys not hitting their weight? Cuddyer hitting .107 now. Kubel leading the team at .300. Can't let the bats take this long to get going.

But I realize this isn't a "just us" problem. Lots of big names off to poor starts.

Carl Crawford .152
Kevin Youkilis .125
Albert Pujols .143
Carlos Pena .190

Went with my dad to his work today, which is where I did my school for the day.

Drove around for a LONG time looking for an SWR Meter, every place I went didn't carry them :(

I did have a little money, so I bought 6 packs of cards, an MLB Mini, and a Retail Twins Team set from ShopKo. Don't know if I am going to break it or if I am going to leave it un-opened. I also dropped $5 :(

On an un-related note, going to see Neal Broten in a 2 and a half hours for a free signing.

My first pick up from Topps Vault came in the mail today. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... MEWNX%3AIT

1988 Color separation. Got the red and blue--shouldn't there be a yellow and a black, too?

Makes for a nice "rainbow" with the rest...base, Tiffany, Cloth proof, dual autograph

Don't wanna talk about tonight's game, Match. Pretty poor ending for a great night by Pavano.

Looks like it was a puke contest between Nathan and Capps tonight.

In your world, the Twins would be 162-0, win every single game 50-0, every hitter would be batting 1.000 (yeah I know impossible), have 500 HRs each, pitchers would strike out every batter, have a 0.00 ERA, be 32-0, wouldnt need any relievers cause the pitchers wouldnt need any relief and so on. Its two+ weeks into the season, teams start cold, end up hot. Teams start hot, end up cold. Relax!!!

Nice pick ups GC. I love Topps Vault stuff. Nice sealed holders and COA.

MC did you go after the Cuddy Heritage 1/1 blank back?

Yeah, I'm overboard on my Twins hate right now. Frustration on this season already. Maybe it will do them good to miss postseason and get rid of some of this dead weight on the team. This group now has taken them about as far as they can go. Is this last year of Nathan contract?
