Well I guess I don't understand the sarcasm but oh well. I'm happy with it cause he was the guy that got me back into this hobby over a year ago. He was my first autograph at a chipotle at the beginning of last year and its been a nice ride ever since. He also said he apprecited what I said while getting his auto. Oh well maybe i'm a sappy fan but he is a good dude and i'm a big fan of his for many reasons.

Its typed words, they dont come off the same as in person, oh well.
Yes, I know Cuddy is a good guy, and he is probably the only reason I collect right now.
Modern Musial doesnt do anything for me, Ive gone about as far as I financially can with Vintage Musial for now, so thankfully there is at least one good guy left in baseball. It will be a shame if the Twins let him go, as that clubhouse and team will suck. Mauer and Morneau and most of the rest of that team are worthless as leaders IMO.

Has anyone here gotten a Cuddyer TTM? I sent to him a while ago, nothing yet but have been seeing successes
Yes, although it took 202 days for me.

Autograph at Chipotle? Was it a scheduled signing, or randomly saw him there?

My wife and I were sitting on the patio at the Brooklyn Park Chipotle of all places and him and Claudia sat right next to me. Even though I didn't collect anything I have always been a huge baseball fan and a big Cuddy fan. So when he sat next to me I wanted to shake his hand and thank him on our way out. Well Cuddy being himself he was very cordial and more then happy to chat for a sec about baseball stuff and after seeing how willing chat he was but how Claudia kind of just wanted her husband to herself I tried to end the conversation with just getting his autograph on a napkin. Well Mike said nah man you dont' want it on that you should run across the street to Target and get a ball the autograph will last longer. When I got back he signed the ball (My only autographed ball in black ink) and told me about the Unplugged events and now i'm knee deep in this hobby.

Is he basically at every Unplugged? How long and early was the line yesterday? Sounded like quite fun getting to meet him at a great restaurant of all places

Since he told me about them he's been at every one except one cause he was signing at FanHQ the same day. Yesterday was less busy then usual with it being downtown. A lot of people don't want to drive downtown and pay parking so it was less busy. You could have gotten tickets walking in at 4 which was 1.5 hours early which is pretty unheard of. My camera battery is shot but i'll have pics of the 2011 Ginters I got signed to complete my Ginter cuddy set and a few other recent pickups here shortly including a Killebrew signed Ginter card which is one that has eluded me for quite awhile.

He is the host of the event, has been for 5+ years
And the bar sucked, JMO.

I thought it would have been packed with 35,000 Twins fans already downtown for the game that ended at 3PM and the bar being just a few blocks away from the stadium.

Packed with people? Yes. To be able to walk in and get a ticket 1.5 hours before the event is unheard of this year though. Thats what I mean by less busy.

You do realize I was agreeing with you right?
I said I "thought it would have been packed with people" not that "it was packed with people"

Not laughing that youre not able to go, I think we all just know you enough by your posts that rarely does anything you plan actually come to fruition. Sorry bud!

 I understand haha.

My dad is pretty sick. It was just a freak thing. We decided to go see the Indians play :D so I will get to hopefully see Thome play one last time. I sprinted to the LCS to get an OMLB, I got back, and was told we can't go.

I was going to buy what I thought was an AJ Pettersen GU Gopher jersey (for $30). After talking to the seller, I decided not to buy it because they are a general seller and didn't know anything about it. I can ask AJ himself, but I am not going to buy it anymore. I need my money for the Valley West and Morton shows in October, as well as TwinsFest

It was an authentic #1 jersey with wear (in size medium). If anyone has seen Pettersen, he is a REALLY small guy, who wears #1 and I believe he plays shortstop.

It's still on eBay, but I am not going to pursue it. Not THAT big of a deal I guess, I thought it was cool and I was a little over-excited (I don't own a GU jersey).

As far as the game, my dad got really sick Wednesday evening and is still not feeling well. I would ask my mom or grandpa to take me but as luck would have it, the church that my family attends is having their 135th Anniversary Celebration tomorrow evening/Sunday morning. We didn't order tickets so we are fine there but I am just really bummed  That's how it goes down in my family... one minute everyone is fine and we make plans... the next, half the family can be sick...

Just read this for the heck of it and it basically sums up my feelings of Bill Smith. What he does this off-season should decide his fate with the Twins. If they keep him around and he keeps making moves like this then there is something seriously wrong with this franchise and its loyalty..
Well, it's a good thing for the team that Ellsbury and Lester haven't panned out, because that would have been a bad move to trade for a few prospects that suck ::facepalm::

I am thinking about sending a TTM to Sano, should I try it? I uncovered a chrome in my dash to get my base cards out the door and I set it aside. I doubt he would but I will research it a little.

On a whim, I picked up a Cuddy GU bat at TF today
They had two for 150 and two for 200 on the wall
I looked at the two that were 150
One of them was a clean break bat, had some grass on there and good ball transfer marks
The other was pretty lame, so I went with first one, why not
After I got home I checked out the MLB holo number and this came up:

Game June 9, 2011 - Wow, I was at that game
Broke 8th inning on a foul ball

OK, I remembered that Cuddy hit a HR that game, was pretty sure it was a 3 run shot
Sure as shat, I looked it up and in the 5th it was a 3 run HR
So I was thinking, more than likely, this bat was used on the 3 run shot, then broke in his next AB in the 8th, pretty sweet IMO. What luck eh? To buy a bat on a whim and just have it happen to be from a game you were at and more than likely be a HR bat. :D
