I highly doubt it here. No one collects Perk here in this thread. I see your crazy one cent bids is getting attention on blowout cards. Tb is going to be known as the one cent bidder.

That's probably true. I am not going to go that far off again... I had an idea and I took it too far on this item, and I was able to make myself look like a fool in the process.

I you have the time to rock 1 penny bids then do your thing. Everyone else can go to hell. You guys gotta stop messing with him, we all did strange stuff as kids because we have different priorities when we're younger.

Nothing wrong with bidding hundreds of times, a penny at a time on a auction. I didn't even think it was possible to bid a penny at a time.

Let me explain myself...

This card and I have had it out for about a year. It was on FCB, the deal fell through, it was on eBay a couple weeks ago and sold for $45. When I saw it on eBay again, so soon... I decided I should do whatever I could to get it.

I started out by bidding $5. Then I check it again a couple days ago, and the card was at $5.50 (or something). Once I saw I could bid a penny, I thought that if I could drive the bids up by bidding a penny, and people would say "WTH is going on with that auction," which obviously worked. It got real out of hand and other people still bid on it.

Live and learn I guess... I won't do it again. I feel dumb for trying that out. I got really excited and I stopped thinking...

After GB posted it, I realized that it wasn't my best choice.

All I have to say is Goldenbuckeye and whomever else feels the need to post active auctions of players we in the Twins thread collect, STOP POSTING EFFING ACTIVE AUCTIONS!!!
You are a tool for doing this no matter what your intentions are or arent.
If you continue to do it, I will up bid you on every effing Plouffe or other Twins plate I think you will go after.
I will hit you in your wallet if you think it is funny to continue to post these active auctions.

Don't do it again. It is pure genius. Who doesn't like seeing a auction for $20 card with 200 bids on it. Probably made seller real happy when he saw all the bids, too bad for him it was the one cent bidder that crushed his auction. Won't be surprised if FCB shill police posters don't make a big deal about it either. You know we got all kinds of those here. But I love the angle of doing all the bids to scare off potential bidders.

Am I the only one still wondering how eBay allowed 1 cent bids on the auction? Is that an option when you list the item?

As for TBT... What a surprise. :benson:

Nishi Marquee Museum /10 auto really has dropped. First went in $180, the third one listed just sold in $70's. I just wonder if this guy will sign for Topps. Not like he didn't have a ton of free time this year doing nothing on DL or on the field. Any talk the Twins will try and buy him out and he stays in japan. I doubt another MLB team has any interest in trading for him and paying him what he is owed or even half of it if Twins packaged him and cash to get rid of him.

I don't understand why there is any interest at all in any of his cards, the guy is obviously a huge bust.

I was hoping Nishi would add some flavor to this very vanilla team. Hasn't worked out so far. I like the idea they took a chance on him. Who knew the Japan batting champ would come over and stink this bad in MLB. I just want to get a cert of his for my Twins collection just for oddness of him. Is he the first Japan player in the Twins have had? I don't remember any others off hand.

And then there's still some auctions comparing him to Ichiro

I'd compare him to if it got me more $$. Despite it being totally off.

I like it, I'm a Salcedo fan. I think he has a ceiling as a #3 starter.

Grats. Although i'm not a big printing plate fan. The ones I like the most are the black ones. I've been watching Salcedo and Rosario and made a few small pickups. Fun stuff.
