I wonder if the Calencia seller lost any money considering all of the plates listed will now have sold for more than the wood one

In other news, I traded $20 to my friend for $10... do you think I lost money in the deal?? ::facepalm::
Depends. If he gave you 10 $1s for it you made money since your 1 turned into 10

I guess he isn't, I guess I must have just remembered him and Arcia as a pair from Bowman. Is the Bromberg auto worth it for a multi-case break?

Depends how much you are paying for it. I would imagine his Auto's settle at about $4 or $5 per. You'd be banking on hitting a color auto of him.

Was at an auction today, there was a nice Oliva Twins 50th anniversary auto thing, got $80 I believe, I got an AP 8*10 auto framed, looks pretty nice, I'll post a picture if no one is vehemently opposed to it, then I'll just not post it ;)

I bought a Cuddy 8x10, an AJ Piersynski signed '99 TwinsFest ticket stub, a Glen Perkins card, and I got a Glen Perkins card in the mail. All of that only cost about $20. I probably overpaid, but I am happy.

The Oliva signing went well. He wasn't too talkative which was to be expected, but the guy in front of me asked him to sign AL ROY, and Tony said "What year." The guy said "1961????" and he thought that was funny.

He started early and nobody hardly showed up. I was totally fine paying what I paid for his signature.

Photobucket isn't working at all to upload it, but it's this picture signed in the white area with his new signature. I feel bad for #20

It would work up to the upload page, and then it would try a while and just load a blank page, but after a while it worked again so I have it uploaded in a different thread

Any pics or video from Tony O signing. Wasn't he real cheap and doing inscriptions is pretty tough to get from Tony?

No vids this time around. I should have done one. I will do them during Caravan and 'Fest.

Auto was $20, Inscriptions were $5. It's the first time I saw him doing inscriptions.

I saw Mud hanging out at the show.

Here is the Twins stuff I picked up:

Here is the last one to show off. I thought it was unique and I needed his signature.

Pics120.jpg

I bought this from an elderly couple that sets up at shows. I met them at the Earle Brown show that I went too. I enjoy buying from them because they enjoy a chat, they will give a deal, and they aren't so hard as a lot of the other dealers seem to be.

They always have a giant box of IP/TTM autos that I love rummaging through. It's where I bought the Kingery and Kiecker in the bottom post.

I still cannot find the guy who has a giant box of .03 vintage that was at TwinsFest. If any of you happen to know who I am talking about, I would love to know what shows he sets up at.

Next, here is something pretty cool IMO, the evolution of a baseball card.
First we have the 98 Stadium Club Front and Back Negatives
Second we have the 98 Stadium Club Front and Back Proofs
Finally we have the 98 Stadium Club Front and Back of the finished product, the baseball card
