This came up for sale (the card above) and I decided to go for it since $8.50 is around the cost to submit a card to the FCB sub before shipping. I don't know why someone would want to grade it though. Oh well, I own it now. It's my 3rd BGS graded Perkins. This will be my last Perkins pickup for a while unless I see a card that I really need for my collection, in fact, it's going to be one of my last card purchases for a while.

Looks like the bats are finally starting to wake up, came back from down 6-0 to tie it up 6-6 right now going into the 8th. Mauer with a 3-run HR, Willingham hit his 4th of the season (leads MLB), and Span has 4 hits.

I don't hardly buy anything card related anymore. Cards are getting boring, so I am moving to 8x10s and other stuff. I still buy a card once every couple of weeks though, but I am much more strict on what I will buy.

The Willmar Stingers released their promo schedule, so I assume more NWL teams have or will be doing soon. Check them out for the Twins night signings they have.

I have 3 games planned including Twins night, but they haven't announced the guest yet.

Had a nice little mailday today. The mini is a cycle back /99. The Ginter is a blank back 1/1. The Span Ginter /99 is a ripped, rip card. And also the Span TTT auto /99 is my second one so it may be available if anybody is interested in it.

Guys we're going to have to get Stan Musials autograph soon. I was at the Target Field for the game tonight and they had a thing where three people dance and then the crowd cheers for their favorite and he got his groove on and won. Was pretty good stuff there man. Grats!

Ran into Scott Baker and his wife today at babies R us. Didn't bother him, but thought I'd share. Saw him briefly, but he was flexing and stretching his elbow, looked like it really was bothering him. A couple days from that surgery I suspect.

I was in the Dugout box in section 14 in row six which in that part it starts at row 5 so I was only two rows from the visitors dugout. I am a pretty calm person but I almost got in a fight with a guy who kept hollerin to Josh Hamilton offering him drinks. When he started whipping ice cubes at him I went over to him and confronted him and he backed down. But hey it was pretty cool to see Musial Collector dancing away haha.
