I did! I'm sure it'll be so busy on Monday that I won't be able to get in. I don't even know when the games are yet!

The first baseball game in the Metrodome was an exhibition game, played April 3, 1982, between the Twins and the Philadelphia Phillies. Kent Hrbek of the Twins hit the first home run in that game and, therefore, the first home run in Metrodome history.
The first regular season baseball game played in the Metrodome was April 6, 1982 between the Twins and Seattle Mariners. The first home run hit in that game was by Dave Engle of the Twins and, therefore, is the first home run hit in a regular season game in Metrodome history.
I know Span hit first dinger in Target Field in exhibition game vs Cardinals. I wonder if that kid still has ball. I know he wasn't dealing with Clay at the game. Huge mistake, should have took what he could then. The first real home run is the one that counts and it was Kubel. I think the person got a Mauer jersey and game used bat off Twins/Clay for it. Is that ball on display at Target Field???

Actually, Span does NOT have the first home run at Target Field. He has the first TWINS home-run
The first home run was hit by Clint Ewing, catcher for Louisiana State. I was there when he hit it. I was there for the first 2 games, where the Gophers lost, and the Twins lost.
I thought Young hit it? I am probably wrong considering I was in a line for walleye when he hit it. Span's ball was retrieved by Clyde I know. I don't think Ewing's was.

I guess I only count MLB stuff. So Clyde did get Span home run ball from Cardinals game exhibition game? I know he didn't get it from him at the game. The kid wasn't giving it up. I hope he did have MLB authenticate it on spot. If I recall Clyde marked it. Maybe MP can get conformation from Clyde himself.

Anyone graph at Target Field? When I go to games I always get there when the doors open so I should have a good shot at this... Who are the better signers? Neshek of course... I plan on taking a few baseballs and a couple cards. I am going to take a Perk card (JUST in case...).
Greg Cleveland said:Well, Waiting Room hell wasn't as long as I thought it would be, but I got a pair of Playoff tix. Went for Game 2, simply because Game 1 is a Wed, Game 2 a Thursday, (well, so I've heard) and Thursdays are just much easier for me! Field Terrace Section 225, Row 3. Tried to get four, but kept getting blocked, so I had to settle for 2. Even then, I had to jump around a llittle bit. I knew where I did not want to sit, but everyplace else was kind of a toss-up. Really hard to have a bad seat, anyway. Now who to take...
