I did! I'm sure it'll be so busy on Monday that I won't be able to get in. I don't even know when the games are yet!

Well based on what was left when there was the presale that I was in, I'm guessing that there will be very very few left. I'm hoping to get in though.

Anser for Metrodome home run question

The first baseball game in the Metrodome was an exhibition game, played April 3, 1982, between the Twins and the Philadelphia Phillies. Kent Hrbek of the Twins hit the first home run in that game and, therefore, the first home run in Metrodome history.
The first regular season baseball game played in the Metrodome was April 6, 1982 between the Twins and Seattle Mariners. The first home run hit in that game was by Dave Engle of the Twins and, therefore, is the first home run hit in a regular season game in Metrodome history.

I know Span hit first dinger in Target Field in exhibition game vs Cardinals. I wonder if that kid still has ball. I know he wasn't dealing with Clay at the game. Huge mistake, should have took what he could then. The first real home run is the one that counts and it was Kubel. I think the person got a Mauer jersey and game used bat off Twins/Clay for it. Is that ball on display at Target Field???

Actually, Span does NOT have the first home run at Target Field. He has the first TWINS home-run

The first home run was hit by Clint Ewing, catcher for Louisiana State. I was there when he hit it. I was there for the first 2 games, where the Gophers lost, and the Twins lost.

I thought Young hit it? I am probably wrong considering I was in a line for walleye when he hit it. Span's ball was retrieved by Clyde I know. I don't think Ewing's was.

I guess I only count MLB stuff. So Clyde did get Span home run ball from Cardinals game exhibition game? I know he didn't get it from him at the game. The kid wasn't giving it up. I hope he did have MLB authenticate it on spot. If I recall Clyde marked it. Maybe MP can get conformation from Clyde himself.

Oh I thought they settled on it... My old history teacher was a couple rows away and he said that he wanted lifetime season tix. I could be wrong though.

Pavano is getting absolutely crushed tonight... we need him to be A LOT better if we want to stand a chance in the playoffs.

Yeah, I'm surprised they brought Perk into a game with it still in doubt with all guys they have in the pen. Or leave him in that long when he wasn't getting anybody out.

MC did you get that Cuddy no # ginter mini that was up not long ago on Bay? To add to your Cuddy vault.

Glad to get out of Detroit. Not a good series.
Sounds like Morneau is not in the picture for any postseason???? Gardy got to get the rotation set now for playoffs this week. Will be interesting how he plays out. I hope he only keeps at most 11 pitchers on playoff roster. Really only need 10.

The Morneau stuff is scary. They keep showing the play every so often, and it doesn't look like a terrible collision, but since he still can't shake it after all this time it really doesn't make sense to even think about him for the rest of the year. Twins will have to carry all three catchers since Jose (apparently) is the only other guy who can play first in case Cuddy goes down. Just don't let our starting pitching go in the tank like they did this past weekend!

Going to a game this weekend almost officially(I know I already posted about it, but we all talked about it today)! I am going to try and get left field bleacher seats for Sunday, but we will see.

Anyone graph at Target Field? When I go to games I always get there when the doors open so I should have a good shot at this... Who are the better signers? Neshek of course... I plan on taking a few baseballs and a couple cards. I am going to take a Perk card (JUST in case...).

Graphing inside stadium is pretty tough. Just have to get lucky and hope someone comes over after streching.

Well, Waiting Room hell wasn't as long as I thought it would be, but I got a pair of Playoff tix. Went for Game 2, simply because Game 1 is a Wed, Game 2 a Thursday, (well, so I've heard) and Thursdays are just much easier for me! Field Terrace Section 225, Row 3. Tried to get four, but kept getting blocked, so I had to settle for 2. Even then, I had to jump around a llittle bit. I knew where I did not want to sit, but everyplace else was kind of a toss-up. Really hard to have a bad seat, anyway. Now who to take...

Nice. Will be fun to read your guys takes from being at playoff games and TB from final home game. Listened to some of PA today online here in Boston. So what do you guys think playoff roster will be pitching wise. Do they leave Baker or Slowey off round 1? What lefty besides BF makes it? So if they go with 11
Locks for starters (5, although last guys will long relief if needed) Dunce, Stashe, Liaraino (three lock starters) then Back in Blackburn and either Slow Dog or Baker.
5 there
then bullpen locks
Capps, Big John, Matty, Crain Train 4 rightes
BF and either Chubby Miggy or other name i'm drawing a blank. Guy picked up from Rocks. And no TB, Perk ain't making playoff roster. Unless he has some serious blackmail to use against Gardy or B Smith.

Does Punto make playoff roster?

I got in for 4 tickets to Game 2. I can't really afford to go since I have the ALCS pre-seale tomorrow so I am selling these, but I have seats for Game 1 & 5 (if necessary). My gf and I each won the sign-up for this pre-sale and we sold her code last night for some nice change. I for one can't wait for playoffs to get started. MP I would have to say most of what you had to say for the roster sounds right. Rotation will be Liriano, Pavano, Duensing, and possibly Blackburn. No way Slowey or Baker are on. My guess is 1 of them will be in the BP and the other is left off. For lefties out of the pen I would take Fuentes and Mijares. Flores and Perkins are just a no for me. And as far as the utility guy I would like for it to be either Casilla or Tolbert, but I have a bad feeling Gardy will insist on taking Punto...
