I am curious about how the hobby is going to respond to the potential resurgence of Villalona. After having such a terrible time at the start of the year in High A he has rebounded tremendously and has 5 HR in his last 19 AB and is now tied for the California League lead with 14 on the year. For a player that went 2-41 with 14 SO to start the season, he has caught up quickly. At only 22 years old, he still has time to turn it around but the BB-K rate is concerning at a low level but the power is still there.

What do you guys think?

I want to see him produce outside of the california league first. But the kid was a top prospect so of course he has a chance. But i have no clue on how people will react if he becomes an MLB regular.

No one cares at this point - he still seems so far away from doing anything.

If he salvages his career - he'll be a righty Juan Francisco at best.
