Please tape the top of the top holder shut. I could care less about the top holder. I'm buying the card and I want it so it doesn't move in shipping. I could care less about a 5 cent top holder. Tape the dam thing closed.

And when the card slips and gets stuck to the tape? Or are you talking about the pinch/tape method? If so, what about the dozen or so cards I've gotten that were deformed by the pinching?

I just bought my very own T-Bags for the first time on Thursday, and I love them! I went T-bag crazy last night all over the house!

I do reuse most of the T-Bags I get, but having my own is just a different experience.

But seriously, my .02 is that if I don't have T-Bags I use painter's tape, which USUALLY does not leave residue, and I back up the sticky side where the opening is with a thinner strip of painter's tape.

I cannot recall one instance where the card was stuck to the tape. And 99% of the time the card is in a sleeve, so you can pull it out by grabbing the top of the sleeve. The card will never touch the tape. Now what I can recall is times when the card was sticking out because there wasn't a taped top. People don't have to go overboard too. One small piece of tape will do the trick. Usually you can break the tape seal with your fingernail, but you can also use a box cutter. I have never damaged a card, you just have to do it slowly.

Yep - I've never had a problem with tape sticking to a card when nothing else other than tape is used. What I've been doing lately is cutting/ripping a small piece of paper and taping that over the top loader, making sure the tape is looped for easy removal - that removes all potential for tape complaint (other than 'ruining' the heavily-used top loader I'm recycling). As I'm mostly a trader and not a seller, I've never had a complaint. I'm not going to go out and buy team bags - my desk has enough chaos and clutter as it is.
