Another Ebay rant/question.....

This lady won a bat used card from me for 99 cents, plus $2.50 shipping. Auction states card is shipped in penny sleeve and toploader. She asks can I have the card in a screwdown? C'mon read the auction. Should I just say no or tell her for 1$ extra or something?

Tough question. I have enough used crappy screwdowns to accomodate a request like that, but I have yet to have anyone be so specific on how they wanted a card shipped. Good luck!

If they even asked that to begin with then I have a feeling offering it for an additional price could just cause more hassle.

I'd probably just respond that I do not use screw-downs, so I don't have any around. I know most of us always have them around, but a lot of people don't use them much - so seems like a legitimate thing to say...and a way to do it without potentially insulting their request and drawing their ire.
I guess - unless you have auctions up with cards in screwdowns.......then I guess it won;t work.

Never had an auction with screwdown. I see hassle on the horizon, so I am just saying I don't have any around.

Don't forget to adjust your shipping cost as well if you decide to accommodate the request.

I'd just politely say you don't have any. You don't use them because you find that they can contribute to the dinging of corners, and have frustrated buyers in the past because of the extra effort of having to find a screwdriver to get the card out upon receiving it.
