So, I had some auctions end...and I was in trial for a week and didn't get to shipping them. I know; I'm a horrible person.

Then, out of some of those auctions, some issues came up -- primarily concern over shipping costs (a few were very large items). My secretary screwed up the UPS shipping and noted a lot less postage on the label than there should have been (which I eventually paid for).

So, I get apparently some not so nice DSRs. Mind you, I've gone years without a negative feedback and still have 100%. One person left me negative feedback, yet they never paid for the item. They agreed to remove that FB. Another left me negative feedback for shipping a creased card without allowing me to even see a scan or offer a refund. After asking for a scan for a month, I finally got it and refunded their money. They changed it from neg to neutral.

For the 18 sales I've had that people have left FB for, a few of my DSRs are less than 4.0.

So I'm suspended from selling on eBay. With 100% feedback. And I can't sell any more (other than what I already have listed), and I therefore can't get my DSRs up.

I guess I'm permabanned from eBay.

With 100% feedback.

Wonderful.

Sigh....

I recently got banned for "high security risk" and my paypal account locked as well... and they wouldn't tell me why... I didn't do anything wrong.

I would assume you are "limited" from selling on ebay, not permabanned or suspended.

Reasons we restrict selling or site activity
To maintain a safe marketplace we sometimes restrict selling activity.

For example, sellers are required to meet a certain level of buyer satisfaction. If buyer satisfaction falls below expectations, a seller’s activity might be limited.

Other restrictions can be placed on items that are often favored by counterfeiters. Although the majority of sellers offer genuine items, we help protect buyers from non-genuine listings by imposing the following restrictions:

Sellers might need to be registered for a period of time before selling certain types of items or volumes of items.

Sellers might not be able to use one-day or three-day listings for certain types of items.

If limits have been placed on your account, you can find out why by checking your seller dashboard or contacting customer support.

I took an eBay survey today and it was asking to select the appropriate checkbox, but I complained about **** like this in every single "other" box, even if it had nothing to do with the question at hand at all.

As valuable of a service as eBay provides, the garbage like this that happens really makes it tough to be happy and excited about.

I can't wait for the day when (or if) a site like collectorrevolution (or something along those lines) takes over for sports card auctions...

I am with you. Cannot stand eBay anymore. Would love to list my Edwin Jackson stash, but I honestly do not expect to get paid.

Exactly.
It infuriates me how scammers, forgers and counterfeiters continue to operate, and legitimate sellers get suspended.
Hope everything works out for you Jeff.

check out the bid history!

Not sure what that auction has to do with anything. But it just looks like someone wanted to have some fun with the bid numbers on the auction.

I also don't like that with the DSR if you give a 4 it says satisfied and a 3 is neither satisfied or not satisfied. But somehow getting a 4 DSR is bad in ebay's eyes and for that matter most bidders but ebay is almost encouraging buyers to use a 4, cuz your "satisfied". Irritating.

Yea, a 4 is satisfactory when giving ratings, yet as a seller if your average is a you can no longer sell

I'm not sure either, but it sure is weird. If you bid 21.72, it won't let you bid 21.73 right? I guess maybe if you're the high bidder you can... I have never been the "bid early bid often" type.
