I was in a pawn shop in my town about 2 weeks ago and found this:

I saw it in the display case and asked one of the guys working there how much it was and if it was real. He went, talked to the owner and came back asking, "How much do you think he wants for it?". I figured a few hundred probably, assuming it is real. He says: "well we dont have a COA with it, he wants $20 for it." I immediately told him I would take it and bought it.

The back says: "This puck hand-carved by Armand LaMontagne from the original 2,200 lb brasswood block used to create the Bobby Orr sculpture for the Sports Museum of New England, 1989."

As I said, there is no certificate of authenticity with it. I dont know if these were handed out to people at a Bruins game, signed or whatever, but it is numbered so I assume they were given out somewhere. Maybe its from a signing Orr and Lamontagne did?

I'm trying to figure out what its worth and where it might have come from. Thanks guys

At $20, it's a steal because it's most definitely a legitimate Orr signature.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat, skin it, and embed the Orr signature in a custom...but that's just me.
