If the base versions were serial numbered, I think resale value would be boosted.

#/50 for under $3 shipped per card is hardly a risk to buy.
All in all, I think the market is more welcoming of these direct to buyer items. And the wide multi-sport audience reach is fantastic to broaden the penetration.

Im sorry but I am not buying a card that looks like this, unless it was a Biggio card I needed and even then would be a struggle for me to get it....
It looks like a wicked sweet card, but Leaf and other card compaines have got to work with MLB and NFL to get to licensing to put logos and team names on the cards. It looks like he is wearing a cheap public high school jersey!
You need to understand the landscape of the industry and realize that it is impossible for small companies to obtain what you require.
Its do it like this or not at all.
Really? Last time I checked, Upper Deck and Panini and Leaf were not small companies....

Well, they need to figure out how to get some licensing.
If card compaines are that small then how do they keep producing sports cards?

Do you guys think the base sets are worth buying at all? Maybe BGS the Lillard? Do you see any potential profit? Obviously if they were numbered they would be a lot better.
Because printing sports cards is relatively cheap.
And SOME licensing wont work in baseball. Its mlb prop or nothing
