All told, with the numbered versions included, there are 216 (I think) total of each player in this Valiant Rookie Stars set...and shiny "throwback" basketball cards are killing it on ebay.

Perhaps naive or jaded, but I can't fathom any of these sets losing money.

Panini has its hands tied with the nba.


Ud is smaller than you think (although they made one of the most popular board games of the year)

I'm glad to see that the Leaf direct to eBay items this year have a different design. Shouldn't negatively effect the base Valiant product.

As for the size of Leaf as a manufacturer, who cares? What matters is the profits created by an enterprise. Better small and in the black than large and in the red.

The #/5 and #/1 parallels are online in auction format...and sold individually.

It was definitely a sly announcement, basically a Facebook post stating to check the leaftradingcards ebay account for something.
